You’re really proud of a country that can and has never match the GCOAT in anything. There is nothing wrong with standard that are set low so simpletons can reach them. But to become a country of value and every country envies, the standards have to be high. But then there are those that will never have that.
I don’t think anyone is proud of France just that you seem to be confused and incorrect with your inaccurate statements. By all means carry on if it makes you feel good!
That is why the US is can handle everything, because we deal with cais every day. That why nobodies come run to the US because they can’t handle things when things don’t go according to plan.
I understand why no one would openly admit to be proud of France. Because there is nothing to be proud of with their history. Just being an American makes me feel proud and great. Guess one never heard the song.

That country and it’s President, Macron and his wife, do have much more to offer their country than Frump could ever hope to have.
That is Class, manners, respect for others, and most of all, common courtesy to those they interact with. When they visited the US in 2022, I admired them. Since then, whenever they are out publicly, there is no belittling of newscasters, reporters, FEMALES, or heads of state, etc.
No comparison, regardless of political issues, class is just that, class.

I have had the absolute pleasure in living in England all my life, the best country in the world. I can walk down the street without the fear of being shot or deported. I have a choice of political parties not just two as in the USA. I can cross any road (even J walk across) where I choose not dedicated crosswalks. Our food is not full with artifical harmful ingredients. We don’t have to drive miles to get our groceries many of which are grown locally
Children are not restricted to go to a school in a zone area. Our national health service is the worlds best ,no worry about having to think about the cost of medical treatment.
We have a history going back hundreds or even thousands of years not just a couple of centuries. Not even mentioning our royality which the USA don’t have.
We have amazing countryside with local traditions in most villages, not a sloppy army parading in the roads to please a president.
We have rights of way across farmers fields with traditions wooden signposts
No even mentioning easy access to continental countries only a couple of hours away for us to explore.
Also we have invented so many things now used world wide
The international date line passes through the UK were we put it (zero line of longitude) so we dictate when every other country can sits down to a mid day meal.
