Is Trump the most corrupt/dishonest president the US has ever had?

Really, these guys aren’t going to pull off their Suspenders for a MAGA big savings.

No way she will ever brag about how safe she was living in a Black Getto while a Judge in California.

Not a single one of those came from fox news.

Democratic party elites in Maine are facing more criticism over their sub-par vetting process amid reports that new Senate nominee Troy Jackson.
There other choice was Senate candidate Ashley Webb. Can expect to much for a Democrat choices.

You highlight a key problem. The democrats seem to be very good at harming their own efforts. Is it something a closed club of chummy mates that they mutually help - even when their mates are obviously not suited to the role? Is it simply a lack of candidates who are both good / capable and also able to raise enough funds?

Trump is not only the most corrupt and dishonest president the U.S. ever had, he’s also the most inept. Everything he touches turns to crap!

Back to the corruption…

To get enough Republicans to confirm Todd Blanche as AG, he (Blanche) issued a written and signed promise to rescind Trump’s slush fund to pay off Jan. 6th insurrectionists.

But the IRS immunity action stands.

Legal experts and a federal judge agree that Donald Trump essentially granted himself immunity. Because he controlled both sides of the lawsuit—acting as the plaintiff while overseeing the DOJ and IRS as president—critics labeled it a textbook case of executive self-dealing.

How the Self-Dealing Was Engineered

  • No Opposing Parties: Trump sued the IRS in his personal capacity. However, the defense was led by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Trump’s former personal defense lawyer and hand-picked nominee to lead the DOJ.
  • The “Sham” Litigation: Government lawyers never argued against Trump’s demands. Instead, Blanche swiftly signed off on a massive settlement that gave Trump, his family, and 419 business entities a lifetime shield from past tax audits.
  • Bypassing the Self-Pardon Ban: Former federal prosecutors noted that since the legality of a president pardoning themselves for criminal offenses remains highly contested, Trump used a civil DOJ contract settlement to achieve the same result—insulating himself from criminal tax prosecution through the back door.

Iran - are we? (oil price wavers)
Trump - if they don’t sign a deal I’ll destroy Iran (oil price goes up)
Iran - don’t we need to talk first, which we can do, but you guys need to pay for the damage you’ve done, and we still get to control the strait (oil price goes up again)
Trump - yes, exactly, we are seconds away from a great deal (oil price goes down)
Trump’s friends & family - so we buy, we hedge, we sell, we trade futures … all easy money

Remember the Trump University scam?

Donald Trump agreed to a $25 million settlement in November 2016 to resolve three fraud lawsuits targeting his defunct Trump University. The deal reimbursed thousands of former students who were scammed by false promises and aggressive sales tactics, ending years of legal battles.

He was also convicted of tax fraud.

A Manhattan jury found his company, the Trump Organization, guilty of 17 criminal counts in December 2022.The corporate entities were convicted of a 15-year scheme to defraud tax authorities by giving top executives off-the-books luxury perks—such as rent-free apartments, Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and private school tuition—to help them evade personal income taxes.

Donald Trump was personally convicted of criminal charges on May 30, 2024, in a separate case. A Manhattan jury found him guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. The personal conviction stemmed from a hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels right before the 2016 presidential election. Trump disguised his repayments to his attorney as standard corporate legal fees.

Corruption du jour (8/4/2026)

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) officially launched a premium data subscription feed called Truth API, which sells high-speed, real-time access to market-moving posts—including those of President Donald Trump—milliseconds before they appear to the general public.

Launch & Pricing: Launched on August 1, 2026, the service costs up to $100,000 per month (or $60,000 per month with a three-year commitment).

Controversy & Criticisms

Critics note that a millisecond advantage on Trump’s policy posts allows algorithmic systems to trade ahead of the public:

  • Legal Concerns: Ethics groups and experts warn of unfair trading advantages and insider trading implications.
  • Political Pushback: Lawmakers have asked the SEC to investigate potential conflicts of interest regarding presidential profits from official announcements.

Robin, everyone recognizes what Donald Trump, the GOP, Oligarch Amerikka, the Nazi laden Supreme Court and their Nazi following are attempting, times are changing. This has been a century in the making.

The only reason Nazi Don ran for President was to escape his many crimes, and now he has created international crimes he will have to atone for, don’t you look the clown.

Courts shut down his illegal ballroom construction. Before he can proceed, he needs Congressional approval. He’ll probably continue work on it, anyway.

The Court’s Logic: Judges Patricia Millett and Brad Garcia emphasized that “each President is a temporary tenant, not the owner, of the White House.” They ruled that a chief executive cannot unilaterally reshape or demolish federal historic property without authorization from Congress, even if the project is paid for using private donations.

But it’s not being paid for entirely using private donations. Over half is now coming from taxpayer dollars.

According to internal records from Clark Construction obtained by the Washington Post, the overall cost of the project has ballooned to $600 million. Of that total, $307 million is being quietly diverted from federal agencies:

  • $155 million pulled from Secret Service funds.
  • $149 million pulled from the White House Military Office.
  • $3 million pulled directly from the Executive Residence budget.

Trump said “BUILD”. That word is not that confusing. Most people have not experienced this, but for example. I go to a contractor and give them the plans to build my house. The cost is set. If the wife wants a swimming pool, a safe room, and security cameras throughout the house. A guest house for her mother, None of that has anything to do with my original cost of building the house. The wife wants it, she can pay for it.

A comparison or analogy is often very helpful in order to understand the issue at hand. So thanks for this. I like your comparison or new house, demanding wife, who pays. Unfortunately (or intentionally) you missed some salient aspects that would make this comparison valid for the White House saga. So let me help you.
You go get a contractor with your plans for a new house. This is to replace your old house that your wife owned, in her name, and managed at her expense. Not your house at all.
However one day out of the blue you get hold of a bulldozer and flatten most of the house that is not yours. At this point you get your contractor and present your plans.
Hang on, says your wife. This is not your house to trash, to demolish and to replace with your crap designs. This is my house you knob.
What she should have done is kick you out and make you pay for the damage and the renovation.
But for some reason your wife thinks you deserve special care. So she says, look, its down now, so lets do something useful with the mess you have made. But as this is an important house for important people (why the bleedin heck are you in it) we need to do this rebuild properly. She changes and adds to the design, as is needed.
You are lucky to get away with not paying for it all you idiot.

Not only is it costing taxpayers 100s of millions of dollars, what he’s doing is illegal! That’s not his property to do whatever he wants with. He’s allowed to make some modifications, but he completely demolished the East Wing!

The Middle east is a Tit for Tat place. It’s not a place with words of agreement. Its greed.

Pretty sure everything the Donald has caused to happen will be undone soon. Most likely the EBlo
is witnessing some of it also. Not 75000 Cybers ever sold. He needs to build a small EV 4X4 Jeep style vehicle that can be offroad and stuff… That Stainless Steel crap is stupid and wedged out of existence.
