I’m worse than Scottish, I’m an Aberdonian. So I cut my own hair. Cost of clippers = Ā£30. Expected duration of working clippers = 15 years. 10 cuts a year. Target cost per haircut = 20p. Happy days.
Unfortunately I only accept card payments. Or crypto.

There are increasing numbers of cyber attacks on Banks,

Not being able to pay by card or get cash out of a Cash Machine is a big issue, so always best to keep a stash at home.

Mrs mart was a hairdresser in working life. She still does mine the old fashioned way with hair between the fingers and scissors. From watching others in the barber’s having a haircut, they look only to use a comb and razor. Not so much skill I’d say but always expensive.

Car boot sales need cash, if you are just clearing out stuff you don’t want, but someone else can use, who would want or have the means to take cards. That is stupid.

It’ll happen one day. I hear they’re experimenting with barcodes embossed on peoples foreheads.

I always have cash in my wallet but I use my debit card all the time even for small purchases. I hate having change in my pocket.

You often have to use your PIN number. I would never forget it.
