Introducing MURTAGH

Not too bad mups. I slept near him for a while, took him outside at 5;30 (after the event I might add :-() then left him and went to my proper bed for two hours. I was awake for most of that because I was worried about him (I know… big softie ) but I did get some sleep throughout.

I do understand and sympathise, but tell yourself it will get better. I also suspect he knows a soft touch when he sees one too - but he’ll love you all the more for it in the end.

He does seem very good when left so I will try to increase the amount by leaving him for longer in the mornings until morning becomes night if that makes sense.

Tbh, I quite often end up on the sofa anyway (when I get nudged for snoring) so it’s no hardship for me but I don’t want him to be reliant on it.

Yes I think it is improving already. He is playing fetch with the ball too :-p:-p

Cor, who is this chocolate box handsome boy? (Not you! Longy)
He looks absolutely lovely and it makes me want another dog.

One thing l noticed, he could do with a few more toys!

Oh, gosh, what an adorable baby! You are quite the hero for staying up with him, but I know he’s already worth all the sleepless nights and inconvenience. Nothing better than adding to your family!

Keep the pics coming!

Oh my goodness Dongles!!!

He’s ADORABLE!! :049:

Yes, we willlbe getting a few more for him. t the moment he pefers anything but his toys although he is quite attached to ‘Googly’ the frog… as you can see.

Thanks surfer. Tbh, staying up with him is no hardship. I love every minute but don’t let him know.

Thanks Rhain.

He went out on his first shopping trip today for a harness fitting (garden wear ). He seemed to enjoy it and will be going back to try it on a few days time.

He said his first word this morning. It sounded like ‘bark’ or something similar.

Tirzah had him cornered and he wasn’t too happy about it. His little jaw was going but no sound was coming out, (a bit like training a dragon to breath fire) then suddenly it happened, he barked, rushed headlong at Tirzah but she stood her ground and gave him a big hiss, he turned on his heels and ran behind his Dad (me). Tirzah is now asleep on the top of the sofa back and she looks very smug and pleased with herself.

:-p

Well just like his dad, it is time that he learned that females rule!

Like most men, I learned that a long, long, long time ago.

Well why do you keep posting on LTP then?:mad2:

Cos Judd’s in charge and he might win a victory for us blokes.

LD, I’ve fallen in love!!! He is absolutely goooooorgeous.
You are in for a lot of laughter in your household with that one!. Please keep us uptodate with all the shenanigans those two are going to get up to.

Thanks Shrops.

He has been for a walk today (a carry) just around the block and it took us 30 mins to do a 5 min walk. Almost everyone stopped to say hello which is good, we want to get him well socialised before he goes on the lead.

He has already learned to ‘sit’ and almost to ‘stay’. He will also fetch the ball back and ‘drop it’ (sometimes).

Toilet training going a bit better.

:mini::mini:

I hope that little man of yours has his pyjamas on this time of night?

Right at this moment, he is asleep on my foot but as soon as I turn the light off he will settle on his blanket.

How is your little man settling in LD?

How’s the toilet training going?
