Seems this series of IAC is running along the same lines as all previous series.
I predicted Lisa would be out last night, obvious as pie. You can tell because she has been given no air time whatsoever in the main show. All the air time has been given to a very select few. Mostly Adam, Scarlett, and Martin Roberts. Everyone else gets token air time.
Producers, as ever, manipulating the show big time to maximise phone profits.
Martin Roberts should have been out first. He’s behaved badly, refused to play along with the “Claim Of Thrones”, whinged and generally been a childish idiot.
Producer I believe are deliverately keeping him in because they are desperate for a dynamic, for some level of rumpus in the camp. So no matter how many vote for him, they will keep him in regardless just as they’ve kept others in , in past series imo.
Carol is in the last 2 because the people who love her, inc many men, are wise enough not to pick up the phone and waste their money. Youngsters won’t be voting for her, they will vote for the people they know and youngsters ARE stupid enough to waste their money thinking their votes actually make a difference.
Adam has won this series by a country mile so expect the producers to try and push him down a peg or too to maximise phone profits.
Same old every series.
I thought I saw Danny Baker quite a lot …
Last night, after Baker had been ejected, Martin was portrayed in quite a different light - he was already Scarlett’s “hero” and he’s now Adam’s “bro” - Joel likes him and the girls think he’s misunderstood …
Larry doesn’t like him but Larry’s just a grumpy old man and will be out soon …
Yep definitely on the hit list. Again note how little air time Larry has had. What has he done?
We saw him enter camp on the first day canoeing with Scarlett and we saw him have a go at Martin this week but other than that? No air time and young voting demographic unlikely to vote for him.
I feel sorry for Carol, she’s a top national treasure imo but won’t get the young vote.
I was sorry to see Ola Jordan leave I thought she was worthy of staying longer. Seems all the women are being voted off which is a shame because I think they have carried the show.
I read that Adam is the bookies favourite … If he wins I will stay out of Omahs way for a while…I know he is not your favourite Omah:-)
I like Joel out of the men and would rather he won than Adam.
He comes across as a really nice person putting others first and amusing too :-).
I suspect that the majority of voters are young and female (as with other shows on TV) and they tend to vote out the good looking women.
If Adam wins I’ll “smash” his face in …
Ola’s nice enough but lacks a personality, as does Sam …
I’m glad we saw more of Carole last night - I’m getting to like her personality …
I’m also glad we saw more of what the celebrities get up to in camp - when there was overnight coverage I’d stay up to see what the celebrities did in their “down-time” …
Indeed, I don’t think he’s put a foot wrong and I prefer his quiet “asides” to Adam’s full-on “banter” …
Definately Joel to win!!!
Great to see them put their phobias aside last night, to get all them stars. Loved their treat…the bar!
I don’t always tune in because of the nasty BTTs, but yesterday’s was watchable.
Would I set foot inside that carriage? No way! Did you see the size of the spiders? I freak out if I see a single insect in the home.
Thanks Meg, it’s this stupid predictive text
Pretty predictable show last night.
Carol, who had been in the bottom 2 for vote off twice now was understandably getting worried. So no surprise she jumped up immediately to volunteer for the next bushtucker trial. She was jumping about and “whooping” the whole show for attention and air time and well done, as she achieved her goal, she wasn’t in the vote off last night. All very mercenary though!
Ola as Omah says, is a flat pancake in terms of personality. Just isn’t an interesting person and is clearly not in touch with the population so failed to impress.
It’s all pretty predictable at the moment. Those without air time will disappear one by one as the producers wish, keeping those celebs that are pulling the £s in.
So “in no particular order”, the next losers will be Wayne, Sam, Larry, Jordan and Carol. It doesn’t really matter which order imo. None of these people are contributing much to the entertainment and their air time is paltry in comparison to Scarlett, Adam and the slimy Martin Roberts (whom I suspect Dave Gorman will be throwing many £££s at).
It has to be noted that the majority of votes will come from naïve young people who are constantly glued to their smart phones and clueless about how the world works.
Of that contingent, the majority will come from sappy girls who will all vote for their heart throbs and those that entertain them the most. This is why the girls in camp have been whittled away and are so in most series.
Of the 15 IAC series so far, a man has won 11 times.
I was sorry to see Ola go, she seemed to genuinely love being in the jungle. I thought Sam and Carol did well and Sam especially should be proud of herself. Larry is getting on my nerves now.
Well, that’s Jordan out. I’m getting bored with it now
A pretty good summing up of the show “in a nutshell” Realist
Please god NOT Adam to win it tho…cannot stand the falsness of him
I was amazed that Adam was flummoxed and couldn’t take away 40 from 85 in the trial, he said he was never very good at numbers? Come on even my little grandson would have a go at that sum.
lol that didnt suprise me in the slightest Summer
Whoa … serious case of Moffatt opinion overload last night …
Who knew she was an ardent feminist and regional dialect advocate … :?:
Luckily, Carole and Joel were more laid-back in the secret mission (which may have post-program ramifications - maybe … )
Loved the Thieving Iguana and Martin’s Hot Gossip elements, too …
If all Larry can manage is sitting in a chair for a BTT then it’s time for Sweetcheeks to go …
So my prediction is on track. Jordan out last night and the rest will follow imo.
Again I note the hugely biased editing by the producers to give specific people air time at the expense of others. Sam got almost no air time last night save for shots where she was sat with others. Carol too got little air time.
Moffett as ever had plenty with repeated clips of her opinions and quips in the equivalent of the Big Brother Diary room. Interesting that they chose Joel to do the undercover trickery missions as he’s been fairly flat throughout the show. Seems they want to “big him up” a little. Presumably that will increase the phone calls from the female contingent out there.
Why not give the missions to Sam or to Larry who really haven’t done a lot nor been very vocal in camp? One assumes because people aren’t going to vote much for either of them. No money to be had there.
Overall I’m left wondering if the producers have had a real panic on their hands this series. The camp has been one of mutual respect and friendliness and they’ve eaten like kings throughout. There are no arguments or conflicts of personalities to speak of, no real dynamic at all. The producers must be somewhat desperate.
This imo is why they have seen to it that Roberts has stayed in thus far. His early actions must have given the producers some hope that he would cause a good stir up in camp, create some tensions and . . .well . . .some interesting TV. I don’t believe for a second that huge numbers of people are voting for him in preference to say Carol or Ola or Jordan.
Unfortunately for the producers, Roberts didn’t continue his early onslaught of rebelliousness and confrontation. He has petered out, is probably bored of the whole thing now and just biding his time. No surprise then that he was relegated to the “It might be you” slot in last night’s vote off.
He should have been first out of camp and I hope he goes tonight.
Tonight’s bottom 2 will imo be Wayne and Martin. You heard it here first !
