I'm a Celebrity is back on soon

I’m getting bored now - mostly with all the “mate” and “smashing it” would-be alpha males scratching their nether regions and one particular simpering female - as Dec might say “I’ll smash their faces in” … :021:

I skipped through what seemed to be an “emotional” episode to the “vote-off”, fully expecting Martin to go … :frowning:

Surprise, Surprise - Carole v Danny and Danny went … Result … :026:

It will be interesting to see how the dynamics change now …

Yes Omah I was very surprised to see Danny go. I thought they would have kept him in to stir the pot more with Martin.

I was surprised Carol was nominated, I thought she’s been fine. I certainyl like her more than Danny anyway.
I think Martin should go next.

Me too, but other than for the two old strirrers it’s difficult to pick someone to vote off.

I can think of two - Adam and Scarlett - then I’ll be able to turn the sound on again …

I seriously DO hope the public will vote these two out sooner rather than later …Please…theyre spoiling my viewing:shock::twisted:

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think they vote anyone off.
You vote for the one you want to stay in and the celebrity with the least votes is sent home. So it’s just that hardly anyone voted to keep Danny in…

Intreresting (in parts) episode tonight … :104:

The first thing is that Ant and Dec have picked up on the annoying “smash it” syndrome …

Secondly, and I know we only see the edits, Baker’s bullying legacy lives on, but only amongst the men - Larry, who’s turned into a right grumpy old man, had a well over-the-top go at Martin for being a control freak, which is surely what Danny was (and what he, on a lesser level, is) … :102:

Adam, particular, cannot stand Martin and loud-mouthed off to Joel, who, sad to say, agreed with Adam in public but then claimed that he loved Martin in private (if you see what I mean … :037:)

On the other hand, the lovely Carole was leading a conversation with Ola and Sam, which agreed that, although Martin was “different”, he was likeable and meant no harm …

IIRC, I read somewhere that boys playground games are exclusionist - leaders pick teams, the strongest selected before the weakest, odd ones left out - girls playground games are inclusionist - form a circle, everyone gets a go in the middle … :069:

Then, out of the blue - Scarlett has to go on a Dingo Dollar Challenge with Martin - she may not have been looking forward to it but the exercise may have proved a bonding process, since they got the dollars after working together only to lose the reward because of the other celebrities’ choice of answer … :frowning:

The best was kept to last, though, when the names for the next BTT, as voted by the “public” were announced - Martin was up, as might be expected, but so was Adam … AGAIN - the look of confusion on his face was a pleasure to behold … :081:

Is it me or are there more “gross” BTTs than ever this year … :?:

Blimey, so much happened last night, I’m struggling to remember … :017:

Oh yeah, Martin and Adam “smashed” and bonded over the critter-holding - who’d have thought …

There was a lot of “chatter” which I skipped over, as I did with the phone calls … :024:

Joel seemed to get a lot of coverage, while Scarlett’s was minimal … :expressionless:

Lisa and Carole were up for eviction and Lisa went - no surprise there - she’s nice enough but too “mumsy” for most to get excited about …

It’s clear that Baker was the rotten apple in the barrel and he contaminated those he came into contact with - with him gone, the playground bullying has disappeared … :041:

But what about Larry’s dancing muscles … :026:

I’m sorry Lisa went I would have liked to see her do an individual challenge. I was hoping she would spill the beans on George Clooney but she didn’t mention him, I liked her.

I’m finding Carol really annoying now. Why does she keep having conversations about things she doesn’t wasn’t to mention?

Me too, why the whispering, she knows it will be caught on microphone

I should think she must be sick to death of people asking about her ex-boyfriend. It was years ago now. It’s like she has never dated aneone before or since, nor done anything else with her life.
All celebs go out with famous people, it’s probably nothing extraordinary to them at all. But she is now only known as ‘George Cloony’s ex,’ and not a person in her own right.

I’d be right fed up with it before now, if I was her.

I expect you are right Mups she could have just whispered it like Carol though, it could have been our secret:-)

 I must say he’s still a handsome man isn’t he. I think it’s his eyes that do it.

He was never my favourite Mups, but a bit of gossip would have been interesting:-)

I still think Scarlet might win;-)

I don’t watch it now but perhaps you fans would know, has anyone ever been made I’ll by any of the challenges, especially the eating ones?

HI Tessa  sorry don’t understand the question

Meg, imitating a synth! :lol::lol: (#Humans)

Meg, It took me several reads as well, but I know what Tess means now. She means:

“Has anyone ever been made ILL by any of the challenges?”
Misplaced apostrophe.
