Intreresting (in parts) episode tonight …
The first thing is that Ant and Dec have picked up on the annoying “smash it” syndrome …
Secondly, and I know we only see the edits, Baker’s bullying legacy lives on, but only amongst the men - Larry, who’s turned into a right grumpy old man, had a well over-the-top go at Martin for being a control freak, which is surely what Danny was (and what he, on a lesser level, is) …
Adam, particular, cannot stand Martin and loud-mouthed off to Joel, who, sad to say, agreed with Adam in public but then claimed that he loved Martin in private (if you see what I mean … )
On the other hand, the lovely Carole was leading a conversation with Ola and Sam, which agreed that, although Martin was “different”, he was likeable and meant no harm …
IIRC, I read somewhere that boys playground games are exclusionist - leaders pick teams, the strongest selected before the weakest, odd ones left out - girls playground games are inclusionist - form a circle, everyone gets a go in the middle …
Then, out of the blue - Scarlett has to go on a Dingo Dollar Challenge with Martin - she may not have been looking forward to it but the exercise may have proved a bonding process, since they got the dollars after working together only to lose the reward because of the other celebrities’ choice of answer …
The best was kept to last, though, when the names for the next BTT, as voted by the “public” were announced - Martin was up, as might be expected, but so was Adam … AGAIN - the look of confusion on his face was a pleasure to behold …
Is it me or are there more “gross” BTTs than ever this year … :?:
