I prefer to make mine from scratch. It’s an easy recipe but I usually double the quantity if it’s for both my son and I.

Not sure Minx, never had homemade Crumpet, I would guess any Crumpet that is hot and smothered with butter would be yummy.

Crumpets are eaten every day in this house but not by me.I do prefer bread or muffins if I want some bakery item.
