Hi Folks.

Have you got room for an oldun?
AND I MEAN OLD. :-D:-D
Still got all my marbles though even though they go roll about at times.

Hello Maywalk. I Only joined here few weeks ago myself. Nice to see you. Hope you enjoy it here. I’m liking it.

Many thanks for the welcome Janet. I hope I get to know the other members and have a bit of fun with everyone.

Hi Maywalk, :039: welcome to the forum, I’m no chicken either;-).
Glad to hear that you are liking it Janet

I already know one or two who are members here Janet so it wont be so bad for me really.
You say you are no chicken. LOL
Join the gang I started losing my feathers some time ago. LOL

Hello Maisie  welcome, I look forward to chatting with you.

Oh another Maisie, my neighbour has a westie called maisie and another one called Harry, sorry not being rude, hope you like it here.

Hi Meg and Annie.
Nice to know that a dog has the same name as me. Woof woof. LOL

Welcome Maisie, you have made it here.
We shall enjoy your wit, your poetry and especially your wartime stories.
By the way, your body might be a little older than mine, but your wit and knowledge is admirable, enjoy my darling.

Hello Maisie  a very warm welcome to you, I hope you’ll enjoy your time with us…

You are very welcome here Maisie, I look forward to reading your outpourings…

Many thanks Wrinkly.
I just hope I don’t bore the pants off folks.

I had a lovely surprise today because our foster daughter phoned up to see if we would be in because she and her hubby are in Leicestershire visiting his family.
Its lovely to know that she still likes to keep in touch with us after 61 years.
If anyone is interested in the way I got to be foster mother to her and her two brothers I will put the story on here.
My son asked me to write everything down when he first taught me how to use a computer so I have one or two true stories to tell if anyone would like to read them.

Thank you Mags and Plantman for the welcome.

Welcome Maisie, looking forward to seeing your posts.

Thanks Alan.

Hello Maisie. It is so good to hear of an 82 year old who has mastered the internet, and I’m not being patronising, honestly I’m not. I think it’s brilliant and I hope you enjoy chatting with folk on here and with our other member who is sharing his wartime experiences as well. Welcome.

Good morning Maisie darlin’ and welcome from me too.

Many thanks Mollie and Uncle Joe.

I have had a computer for many years Mollie and I have had over 17,000 people to my WW2 website.
Its been a wonderful time since the site was first aired and I have had SO many lovely thank you e-mails from students because it has helped them with their dissertations. All that apart from being contacted by many lovely folk from around the world.
I am a VERY lucky lady and I only wish more older folk would learn how to use the computer.

Hello Maisie,

Very nice to meet you.

Helen

Hi Helen
