Your travels sound like a passport full of stories, South Africa, Taiwan, Libya, Türkiye… good grief, man, I’ve been to a few spots myself; Okinawa, Germany, and a memorable week in Derry, but I never got on the Orient Express. That’s a proper bucket-list trip. I can just picture it: steam hissing, silver service, and a bloke like you leaning out the window telling some border guard, “We’re just here for the pie.”.:sweat_smile::laughing:

Well thank you kindly, Daniel - mainly my job. Mostly it was a pleasure but now and again not so - when I was in Canada in the winter it was -16C/3F. Enough. Something else. Are you interested in photography? It’s a wee hobby for me. This is our street one evening:

Oh, I’ve got a whole truckload of interests! I love debating history, I’m a bit of a golf nut, I could talk geopolitics for hours, I enjoy mountain climbing (nearly broke my hip last time :face_with_head_bandage:), and I’m a complete sucker for seafood. If any of those interests you, we can absolutely chat about it here!
