I wasn’t sure if he was joking but the answer was accepted.

Missed it tonight. She is apparently the most successful chaser.
Heard on the Chase last week…
(Q) Which one of these is NOT the name of a car?
Lincoln - Hoover - Ford
Contestant answers…Lincoln!
WHAT!..:surprised:
They pick them for their entertainment value!
It’s more like a sitcom sometimes JB, it has me laughing on occasion…
Question on the chase…
What was heard in Act 2 of Shakespeares play Julius Ceasar?
A Clock…A gunshot or Cannon…A Trombone…
Contestant answers …A Trombone…:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D…WTF
Jeeez… If they had a brain they’d be dangerous.
The correct answer was clocks because Romans used the sun to determine certain times of day and the length of the shadows to estimate the rest. Clever those Romans.
Dear me…everyone knows it was a french horn!
I saw that too. Mind you, I was just as surprised by the correct answer.
The Chase.
Q. What day of the week rhymes with Monday?
A. Tuesday.
Well the last bit does! In fact so do all of the others for that matter.
Was that one of the chasers Longdogs, they sometimes get confused on the easy ones, they think it’s a trick question…
No OGF, it was a contestant. Probably due to nerves but still funny.
I’m no expert, but why do contestants on the chase go for the largest amount when everyone knows they are not up to it? Surely, ‘The Chase’ is a team game and the more people that get through to the final chase the better. What’s the use of going for the large amount if there are only a couple of contestants left, the chances of winning are decreased with every failed contestant. It’s like the monkey putting his hand in a jar and clutching a handful of nuts, and unable to get his hand out of the jar while grasping too many nuts. So it is that the contestants greed makes them go for the full amount thereby drastically increasing the odds of winning anything at all…
Against the chaser they have a chance of guessing an answer, so go for the higher amount.
