I quite like the choice made in this current life. No owners, or cages, or gnawing on bones, or waiting for a pat on the head.

What type Mastiff ?

By Miami Fish Farm which is a place that sells fish which I go to there is an estate couple blocks away , the guy has a Fila Brasileiro and bull mastiff which are tanks .

I had Alapaha Bulldogs years ago but they are not as agile , alert as American bulldogs .

And a Heroine. That Floats this Dinky Dingy .AKA.
Non de Plume. Albany.

I’m not the same person I was when I was younger. I was a pushover and way too soft for my own good. I’m much stronger now and not afraid to say no. To be honest, I still struggle with saying no but I will not do something I don’t want to do anymore just to please the next person.

I was a people pleaser even if it didn’t please me.

Lord knows. He is a one-eyed, deformed-armed giant ball of love, who was found on the side of the road, starving to death, limping along - and wagging his tail. In other words, the very best type of Mastiff :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think with age so comes confidence, and the realisation that you don’t have to take sh$t of anyone anymore…Stand up for the things you believe even if nobody else believes them…
:+1:
I still feel the same fire in my belly to do the things I have always done, and I still give them my best shot, the only problem is, my engine doesn’t always start or run as smoothly and efficiently as it used to do…

Yeah, I can image. It’s all necessary growth - shedding old identities.

Why would I want to shed My old identity?
I like Me as I am,and I always have done,
I have rid Myself of a few toxic People over the years who didn’t like Me as I am…Their loss.

A few weeks ago I got a steroid shot in my right hip I have no idea what type but think cortisone is standard , I have to say it was a kick of energy that bought back memories but short lived as was the pain relief , perhaps lasted 4 days .

I get up have coffee while posting here watching tv but the coffee is imperative and then get going but those 4 days I woke up eager to get going but yea again sadly only 4 days .

I think it is a serious of three shots and get second in couple weeks , hope it last longer as have big plans while wearing my Rod Stewart wig and regret not doing that first shot but won’t make that mistake again .
