Got my letter yesterday…excellent!!
Got my letter yesterday-money in my account today.
Good one ladies ,its almost like waiting for Santa to get round to our street 
Still waiting for our first payment, no letter yet.
I had my letter yesterday, payment usually follows soon after.
My WFP has arrived at last, so I’ll be off to the Dog & Trumpet for a couple of Winter Warmers later on … 
Funny you should say that, I was sat in a pub and overheard some old guys at the next table and one said that his WFP would go towards paying his golf club fees 
I’m too young.

I don’t need my winter fuel payment, so I donate it to a local cancer hospice that can make good use of it, plus they can gift aid it
Well good for you , all those that are well off and can do without it should do the same .

There are plenty of pensioners who don’t need it. My mother is one, my sisters inlaws are more
However it’s not a means tested benefit

Yet you are disparaging to those who have posted saying they don’t need it ?
Why should those who don’t need it give it to charity? If I was given £200 just because of my age I’m sure I’d spend it on myself , even if it was a party
Surely as a benefit it should be means tested and those who don’t need it don’t get it , leaving more in the kitty for those who do need benefit ?
