Hi all, hope everyone is doing great! There is a crazy steep dirt hill section of a local trail that I have tried to climb on my unicycle for a few years, but I couldn’t seem to make it more than about halfway up before stalling out from the extreme steepness, which ranges from about 30-38% grade, putting it in the company of the steepest streets on Earth. But being an uneven, rutted dirt hill and not a smooth, paved road, makes it doubly challenging. But on this particular day I was absolutely bound and determined to make it to the top! With my hover X1 flying camera following me from bottom to top, this is the climb. As usual, it is far steeper than it appears on camera.
Congrats. Chief - well done. I am truly impressed.
I used to cycle a lot. Normal bikes. But then had a bad fall about three years ago - not bike related. Cracked my wrist, my nose, my front tooth - but worst detached a retina. After a very traumatic op my retina is back in place, with some sight problems, and with a huge lack of confidence. Not been on a bike since.
You, on the other hand, have mastered it - and some. Well done.
Good job. I would never attempt doing something like that.
Brilliant UniGeezer, you are in fantastic shape to master such a steep climb, I reckon it’s the time training and hard work that people don’t see. The hill climb is just your lap of honour…Well done mate…
I prefer two wheels these days…
Wow!!!well done that man
