Och,there are wee Willy/Billy/Bill Wallaces everywhere in Scotland…some even as short as Mel G,lol.
Probably not. Sean Connery might have been a better choice.
Aye,Ye’r right there…but He was too busy being 007
Thank you - you took the words out of my mouth, Dex.
You flirt! That’s you off the guinness list next time I am home - hopefully sometime in the New Year if The Plague allows - I am so homesick!
I just read it and it was one of many versions…
how many do we need to see…the whole St. Andrews Day seems to be well apart from Scotland…
many European Countries claim they have his bones on there soil…
And don’t We all love Him for it…begorra My heart is all of a flutter whenever He passes by,
So, some of his bones might temporarily have passed through Scotland, and on that basis they decided to make him their patron saint.
All a bit tenuous, to say the least.
Who cares?..not I …I’ll shall leave all that stuff to those who REALLY CARE…
Think that’s true May…other things more important, but nothing wrong with some leg Pulling…
Reminds me of how I once won a game of bingo in an arcade when I was 8 and on holiday in Hastings, and my prize was a torch.
When I went outside I looked at the shape of the clouds for a sign of how I might give gratitude to god. Based on what I saw, from then on and to this day, whenever I see a Mr Whippy ice cream van, I pay my homage by buying a 99 with extra raspberry sauce.
Heh heh…no one loves a good leg-pull more than I Dianne
I’ve just received a stupid feckin message saying I’ve made too many replies…what!!!
just did a google translate! Do you speak Chinese Bruce?
No, I have a number of Chinese speaking friends and know a few words and expressions that is all, I definitely can’t read it. I got that the same way as you but backwards.
One thing that makes me laugh is Mandarin and Cantonese speakers trying to talk to each other, it usually ends in fits of giggles and English, yet the written language is the same. There is also the added complication of local dialect, for example my Malaysian friend speaks Hoikken at home, she also speaks Mandarin, Bahasa and English - I feel like a right dunce.
