In all of my years, I’ve never sported hair long enuf to form a pony tail. I can remember decades ago being told about men with a pony tail and to just remember what a horse has under said tail 
I’ve always been well groomed and made the effort to remain this way.

She cuts it for me, so I really don’t have much say in the matter, but for some reason she wont let me anywhere near hers . She is at the hairdressers as I’m typing this

Can’t say much here. My dad went bald in his 20s. So I was always worried, but at 57 I still have all mine. Must get that from my mother. 
As far as it being my crown and glory, it’s a pain in the ass. I used to let it grow, until it bothered me, then I would just buzz cut it off. Did this for 15 years or so. Went to the barber shop for the first time in ages just recently.

Another great advantage to having long hair.
Zero spent on hair dressers - stylists , none of hair dyes etc. It’s basically brushed and styled and takes about 5 minutes.

My man is going bald so shaves his head and it suites him. It also allows me to purchase some lovely shaving lotion for when he does it which smells awesome so it’s a win win. I happen to appreciate the bald look. In fact, there aren’t many men whose hair looks so nice I do a double take but occasionally it does happen.
The Scotsman in the kilt that drove up our driveway the other day was certainly one

My OH has hair like that, it’s tied back for work but loose the rest of the time. I love his hair, even when he was a wee lad at school it was long…

I prefer slightly medium/long hair if a guy has hair just like Jamie Frasier
