Got British Passport stamped in gold on it.
And no EU flag.
I truly feal truly free at last.

Well I want a two year refund on my passport as it was not possible to use it!
What happened to blue passports?

There seems to be some controversy about the colour couldn’t they even get the blue right ?

We had to use up the last of the maroon ones but they do say British and no mention of EU thank goodness. My daughter’s partner ordered his not long after us and they had gone on to the dark blue/black colour.

Good point Annie! Unfortunately ours ran out in August 2020, so we wouldn’t get much of a refund 
Annie, l felt the same about my railcard as l couldn’t use it. They refused when l inquired about a refund.
My British passport has just run out and l wasn’t going to bother renewing it.
Instead, if l do. I will apply for an Irish passport.

I’ve got two years left on my burgundy one, thank goodness.
And then if I have to have a blue/black one I’ll hide my shame under a burgundy cover! 
Why? Are you ashamed to be British?
Not much point paying for 2 if the Irish one gives you the same access to the UK plus Europe. Very sensible IMO.

Not unless you have Irish parents or grandparents.
My wife was Irish so my daughter can get an Irish one as well as a British one.
Or just an Irish one if she wants to save money.
So Angel is Irish or has Irish relations?
An advantage, then, as I assume that an Irish passport can get you into any EU country AND the UK. Mind you, any bugger can get into this country!
I wish I qualified for an Irish one that covers you as EU, you’re lucky x

JBR, I was born in Ireland, so l qualify for an Irish passport.
I wonder if l can apply for passports for these countries too… l have just recently found out… l am 1.2% Central Asian Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan lranian, Afghanistan
