Good morning Tabby et al…still blowy here but quite mild at the moment so no complaints
I may find it in me to turn over a couple of the veg beds today, and I’m going to start some spring cabbage and aubergine seeds going on the windowsill.
Enjoy your day everyone
Two of my favourite veg, Barry, very thoughtful of you!!

Good Morning from Foxy’s world…
A quick blast round Tesco and then Foxy is appearing in York…Deans Garden and onto the Vanguard centre (M&S) to be precise. Our next door neighbour and very good friend’s birthday today so we are taking them out for lunch, and possibly squeeze down a hunk of cake later in M&S…Just been to get the car out and its 11*C…Still a bit blustery though.
Good morning everybody!
Pouring with rain (again), At least it isn’t snow I suppose.
Still at it with the boxes, one room at a time. Its hard going but I slept well last night, so more energised. Going up to the new place to measure out and plan where furniture will go.
Have a lovely day everyone
Haha, call in anytime Tabby and I’ll make you a moussaka and you can take a cabbage home with you…![]()
I’ll be over on the next 'bus!

Hi
Good Morning All.
Nice and mild today and Wendy is coming after managing not to get herself arrested Monday on her feminist protest.
More sorting out on the menu, she is very good at that, and sorting out the BT, Compass and ITV Shares who have not yet responded.
She is brutal at downsizing, we do argue as rather than recycle I would sell it at a car boot or on Facebook.
That is the Yorkshire in me.
I have just got £40 for what she considered rubbish, her daughter getting £10 for posting it for me.
Great Fun, I have a container full of it.
Good morning!
It was so windy last night, I couldn’t sleep much, so I’ve been catching up tonight.
I’m so hooked on Top Chef. I found an online community where they discuss the show. I found out some intriguing back story. Makes more sense now.
Morning all, had a message from my sister’s daughter in law asking me to ring her this morning. I knew it would be bad news because I was talking to my sister last night and she was really feeling unwell. She lives alone and is easily panicked when she gets something wrong, always fearing the worst. However, this time seems she was right. She had a heart attack this morning and was blue-lighted to hospital. Her son was with her while waiting for the ambulance but they wouldn’t even let him in while they were working on her, and told him there’s no point following them to the hospital as he wouldn’t be allowed in. Poor love is going out of his mind. As am I and all the rest of our family
. Will just be spending my day waiting for updates. I can’t even be with any of them because they’re 250 miles away.
I hope your day turns out better than mine…
I am so sorry Sheba, I hope everything turns out ok. It sounds like they got to her fast though, which is brilliant. x
Thanks Pixie. Yes they were pretty quick, I think. And the hospital she’s gone to has one of the best cardio units in the county, if not the country. So I know she’s in the best hands. What I worry about is whether she will fight this enough. She’s not good at being on her own. Her mental health has been so very poor throughout the pandemic and she’s always saying things like ‘I don’t think I can do this much longer’ and ‘If something happens, I won’t fight it’. Just hoping that basic human instinct to hang onto life will kick in.
Thinking of you all Bathsheba, a terrible time for you all.
Here’s wishing you all the best for a good outcome, (((hugs)))
Thanks Barry x
Morning all on this mild and sunny day.
The Snowdrops are blooming, I love to see those first little clusters of them popping up.
I bought a new Rhododenderon which needs reportting too.
Haircut today, and then maybe get the shopping on the way back, we’ll see.
Sheba, sorry to hear your worrying news, I hope your sister makes a full recovery soon. x
Sorry to hear about your sister. I hope she recovers well and soon. And I hope that the family will hear some news soon.
Sorry to hear about your sister Sheba, I hope she’s alright. They might just put a stent in if it was a blockage, she will be as good as new…It’s still worrying times for you and your family though…

What I don’t understand though is, Mrs Fox was allowed in to see me last month when I had my pacemaker fitted. They would allow two people into the ward but my daughter declined as she is a bit squeamish…

@Bathsheba - so sorry to hear about your sister - sending positive thoughts and hugs.

Good morning all on 2.2 22

@Bathsheba - so sorry to hear the news about your sister, I hope she makes a full recovery.
Thinking of you. x
