Going to be cloudy but hot here today - due to hit 70f by lunchtime.
Desperately trying to rearrange the Craft Room! My little 12’ x 12’ box is bursting at the seams. Have three large storage boxes in the hall - One for stuff going to crafty friends, one for stuff going to Charity Shops, and one for stuff to be recycled.
Can hardly move without falling over ‘stuff’, boxes, or nosy cats - can’t find anything at all - feels so uncomfortable - might just have to go make tea and piles of toast - if I can find/reach the kitchen!

Just a few tidying up jobs in the garden for me today and the blackberries and raspberries are ripening thick and fast so some more picking and freezing to do.
Not a newspaper in the house, Smiffy, never buy them - not a hoarder - if that is what you mean! Once I have moved things about in the Craft Room and put up some new shelving - the chaos will be over!

I had a horrid day yesterday with an hour and a half in the dentist chair having 3 fillings , far too long to spend with your mouth open and something my old dentist would never have done. I am not happy now, one filling is too big and uncomfortable to bite on so needs filing down. It took 6 hours for the local anaesthetics to wear off that has never happened before,
Good morning everyone, it’s a lovely day here again. It won’t be really hot, only around 21deg, which actually suits me fine as I can’t cope with the hot weather these days, it just wipes me out.
Had a lovely day with my brother and sister-in-law yesterday and their beautiful dog Patra - here she is in the pub garden, jumping up on the bench to join in
Today will be a day of sewing I think - I want to make a little rope bowl for a neighbour who always passes in her excess home grown veg.
I filled in an e-consult form last night so am expecting a phone call from the doctor this morning.
It’s for a routine check that’s already two months overdue!!
Since I had a fall out with the receptionist over face covering I think she’s made it difficult for me to see the doctor.
Anyway - bugger them!! I have also arranged to go walking with my friend Chris & am not cancelling my plans. If the Dr hasn’t called by 10.30 I’m off!!

I was pinged. By the NHS app yesterday, been in close contact with someone who has Coivid whilst in hospital.
Oh that’s really rotten luck Swimmy. Bad enough being back in hospital again, but to be pinged whilst there is just rubbing salt in the wound . Hope you’re well again soon.
Cleaning the downstairs windows this morning then filling the bird feeders. I noticed a robin sat on the fence earlier, waiting for his breakfast I expect!
Meg, that’s an awful long time to be in the dentist chair, your jaw must have ached. I have an appointment for a replacement filling in October and I notice I’ve been allotted a 1 hour slot for that.

Carol, I remember you saying about that episode, Carol, but wonder what you’d have done if you’d been with me a week or so ago at my GP’s reception desk. . .
A man in hi-viz work clothes came in and went to the desk and the woman immediately said - “sorry Sir, but you need to put a mask on before you enter this building.”
The bloke replied he was exempt because he was Asthmatic. He said that is why he was there because he was having trouble breathing NOW.
Reception said - “Sorry Sir, but I can’t talk to you if you are not wearing a mask!”
I thought there was going to be trouble, but the man just said “Don’t bother then” and walked out.
Then I heard the old bag on reception make the most awful comment to another member of staff.
She said - “Oh go somewhere else and die quietly then.” !!!
And no, I didn’t report this because I don’t know her name, and I have no proof. Her colleague would have probably denied it anyway, as they all stick together.
That sound rough Meg, I had a check-up and another appointment to get a filling a week later in and out normal time. Although an hour booked think that was for cleaning in between as well what happened to your old dentist?
Been out with Gert and all the front and back outside UPVC cleaned my neighbour said when I saw in when I went out to the car, he came round the corner and was blinded by the whiteness - worrying now how dirty they were but they were not honestly.
Doing the inside today.
Car passed MOT and cam belt water pump antifreeze/coolant changed and refilled. All good
dull again.
