Lovely warm day 28’ with a few high clouds, I went for an early walk (well 10am) then did some work on my back gates to stop dogs getting in or out. Partial success, pop riveting by myself only partly successful
Worked up a good sweat so will reward myself with a shower and a couple of beers (which reminds, I need another slab)
Rain tomorrow evening apparently. Anyway, have a good one…

What sort of slab?
I am guessing paving? 
A slab of beer, they come in cartons of 24 stubbies (I don’t like cans)

I never knew Aussies called cans of beer slabs.
Cartons of cans are called “Blocks” they usually come in 30s. I hate drinking out of cans.
Stubbies are 375ml bottles, Longnecks are 750ml bottles. I don’t know how much a can holds.

These threads are starting earlier (thanks SilverTabby), which is nice since I’m still awake. It’s still Friday here for a while. I just got done watching a kid’s movie, The Incredible Story of a Giant Pear. I needed something cute tonight after a stressful week.

Still dark here so I have no idea what the day will be like…off to the the supermarket today as the kids are descending on me tomorrow so I’m doing a buffet for 12…still not much of a kitchen here so it won’t be anything special but I try my best

Morning everyone, looking to be a half decent day today, dry and not too chilly - though I’m sure our Antipodean friends would think 15deg downright freezing 
Got some sewing to do today, and planning to make a vegetarian butternut squash and coconut curry later. Mr B won’t eat it, of course. Wot, no meat?
