Good morning Monday 29th November

Morning folks. A dry day, for the time being.

Hopefully it will stay dry for dog walks, and popping out to the library. I waited till about 7.30 to take the dog out, though she’d done a wee on my back path, and we got soaked! Had to hang everything on an airer, and had to forego her last wee before bed, but she alerted me in the night she wanted the garden. Just to say, she doesn’t always go out the back!

Sitting by my bedroom window, having had a cuppa, and there is a clear sky right now. Hope it lasts! But I hear parts of Lowestoft have black ice. Eek. Stay safe, everyone.

Good Morning Jazzi and all who follow,

Very cold here. The light snow we had has been frozen solid and the roads/pavements are lethal. Set off for my usual early walk but gave up on it - did not feel safe - a pot of tea and a stack of toast seemed a better idea!

Hibernating in the Craft Room for the rest of the day.

Stay safe everyone.

Good morning everybody! Insomnia struck again last night so I have a cotton wool head this morning. Freezing cold just now at minus1.

Not much planned for today apart from making some soup and trying to fix the seal on the fridge. The door keeps popping open of its own accord, so I assume there’s a problem. Its only 2 years old so its annoying nothing seems to last these days.

Anyway have a lovely day

Well thought snow was coming I did see a Flake but now thinking maybe was a fake
with my spelling I guess that could be it.
Well today maybe I will get some good news and then I can get on with my life again. But I am not holding my breath.
Hope you all stay safe.

Good morning everyone, very cold here at -4°C and a couple of inches of laying snow from yesterday, brrr
 I hate the stuff
 !

Nothing much on my agenda, just a trip to Halfords to have a new battery fitted on the car which has let me down this winter, but it is ten years old so I can’t complain really I guess

Enjoy your day folks

Good morning everyone  brr it’s so cold I want to go to bed and stay there till spring bypassing Christmas and viruses.

Chloe is a worry wandering about at night, a sign of canine dementia, Amy a previous dog was the same. Chloe is tucked in her bed asleep at the moment.

I was going to pop to the Wholefood shop this morning but think I will wait till it is warmer. There is ironing to do and cleaning .

Enjoy your day

It’s a hot Spring day in Johannesburg.

I’ve two weeks leave that I have to take or lose it and all I can do is sit at home and isolate over Christmas and New Year :090: I hate Covid-19!!!

A very fresh start to the day today. Frosty but no snow :+1: (yet) . Hopefully an uneventful day ahead but who knows :man_shrugging:t2:. Have a good day all.

Morning all, a dull start to the day, and set to continue thus for the day

Shopping later - will probably get in as much of the non perishable Christmas stuff as we can. In the meantime I’m making a start on the oversize fleece hoody I’m making for my daughter. They’re called Oodies apparently; honestly can’t think why, stupid name . Her little girl had one for her birthday, which she loves, it’s like a huge wearable snuggly blanket, and my daughter has always said how much she’d like one.

Have a good day everyone, and take care in the snow and ice

Good morning everybody.

Our son & daughter in law, Ady & Paula are picking us up soon.

We’re going to our nearby town Chesterfield where Paula & I will head off for Carphone warehouse where I hope to get a new i-phone. Not buying it outright - too expensive. For £28 a month I can have one on contract. Paula has sussed a good deal out for me.

After that we will be going Christmas shopping for some clothes for our 8 year old grandson Josh. Paula asked me if I wanted to get him toys but I told her no. He has too many as it is. I want to get him some warm clothes

The men are going off somewhere where there’s some nice scenery & Ady will take Tony a short walk.

We’re meeting back up with the men for a pub lunch & then home in time to meet Josh from school.

We won’t be doing much for the rest of the day.

Have a good day all

That sounds like a perfect day to me Carol
enjoy

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all. :039:

Not too late for morning, I actually made it before midday!

Very cold here this morning, 0ÂșC now with a complete frosty white-out of fences, hedges, pavements, roads. Bright sunshine streaming in the windows now though. Maximum temperature 4ÂșC.

Various tasks planned for today – book booster jab and make an appointment at GPs, then it will be a case of whatever the day brings.

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

It was actually sunny today, I went to the local community centre to pre poll vote in the local council elections (the actually election is next Saturday)

No “How to vote” cards being handed out by the party volunteers and candidates at the entrance and every elector was given a new pen to fill in their election ballot paper.

Rather than a reverse Cowgirl I did a reverse donkey vote on the ballot for Lord Mayor ( I think Bradbury will retain the position of Lord Mayor)

Oh what fun! Even got some shopping done while I was out, back home I ran my generator for 10 minutes because they are changing my electricity meters tomorrow for a digital on so I will be without power for up to three hours.

Have a good one

Good morning all.

Very cold, minus three when I went outside to feed the wild birds.
The snow we had last night is frozen solid.
I want to go to the post office, but think I will wait a little longer till the sun moves round and thaws things a bit.

I had a telephone consultation from the hospital booked for today, but they have just rang and said the consultant has tested postiive, so won’t be ringing now, and they will rearrange it for another time.

Keep warm, and take care all.

load of leaves and roof moss in the roof gutter again so guess what my next job is.

Good morning all quite a bit of snow but saw quite a few gritters out and about yesterday and this morning.

Masks are officially back - although never stopped myself.

It feels like we are going into another sort of peak maybe not a lockdown but something this is one of those things I think that will not go away and the speed this virus adapts is scary although maybe this is how the common cold or flu evolved we will never know. This is being studied to death so to speak.

Have had a cracking walk through the snow with her royal snowiness lots of smells I imagine as she was mental. Work later brrrrrrrr

Have a good afternoon all.
