Good morning Monday 29th November

Tiz a very late good morning or in other words, good afternoon from me.
I’ve been in my area cardiology department this morning and now I’m fitted with yet another 5 lead heart monitor that is to be removed and returned Thursday morning; hopefully this time the results will not leads to another disagreement between my two consultant cardiologists as far as a pacer is concerned. I now know what a piggy in the middle means :point_right::grin::+1:

My guess…

You’re going to build a roof garden?

like it.
This is something I have to do several times a year. About 5 years ago it cost around £80 to have someone come in and clear the gutters with a “skyvac” so now more like £100+. So I decided to buy my own which cost £464.40 in Nov 2016 for the 4 pole version. I got an extra pole free as they were waiting for the new electric motor in get in stock. So I waited as well, each pole cost at that time about £80?
Since then i must use it at least 6/7 times a year if not more. Working it out for 6 x a year for 5 years to get someone in would work out ar a rough guess £3,000 or more.
So as you can see the unit has paid for itself several times over . I also do a neighbours house next door for free at least once a year.
Members in the past have made comments about me and roof gutter cleaning but I am the one that has to smile. Not only saved a small fortune but I don’t have to wait in for someone to turn up.

removed about 15/20lb of leaves and roof moss from the gutters today

I just send my drone or my son up to have a look in the gutters at the beginning of the bush fire season. There is rarely anything worth worrying about.

Though I need to spray that lichen with Roundup one day

This is my problem photo only showing the “clean” end from half way ,

the downpipe was chock a block with the stuff. I also have 5 other roof gutters to clear as well
I check by fixing a compact camera on the end of the tubes

this is how bad it gets (showing old gutter now replaced)

all this slides down easier now towards to downpipe with the new gutter

Bruce it looks as if yours is only 1 story high so easier to get at your lucky in that respect. Being a two story house not so easy.

new gutters, soffets and facia boards being fitted. That centre part behind the red ladder need 4 extn tubes to reach 4 poles x1.5 mtrs =18ft approx as does above the conservatory
