Those muffins sound scrumptious!
Hi
If the bread is not fresh pop it in the microwave for a few seconds and then roll it.
This is how we make bread punch for fishing and fish are very fussy eaters.
Got some washing done first thing this morning before going. for a meeting, on the way home called into Woollies and bought half a dozen frozen meals. Probably should have bought milk but that can wait until tomorrow.
Got the clothes off the line just in time before some rain arrived in the early arvo.
Not an exciting day, hope yours was gooderer.
Morning all!
Watering done. Weather was cooler yesterday and feels cooler today as well.
There’s a holiday called bank holiday on the calendar but I don’t think it’s a holiday here. Tried looking it up but didn’t find an answer.
Neighbor was quiet again yesterday. 2 days in a row.

Nice!
Hoping for a quiet day.
Have a peaceful day everyone.
It’s a bank holiday in the UK
Thanks, I got that part. Just wasn’t sure if there’s a holiday here as well.
Absolutely understand.
Keep it simple and then maybe in time you may be able to ‘slip’ something in later.
Well needless to say granddaughter turned her nose up at the eggy cheese cups. Her mum was mad at her, said “OK, you like bread?
, you like cheese?
. You like egg?
. You like broccoli?
. Well, that’s all it is, nothing else, all things you like!”
“Yes, but I don’t like them all together”. Honestly, I can see why she loses her rag with her, lol!
Oh dear! Lol!
Back to the drawing board it is but well done for trying.
How times have changed @Bathsheba ,when we were kids if you didn’t eat what was on the plate you went hungry, no argument or negotiation in those days…
A bank holiday and our 52nd anniversary today😀
I agree with you Barry & I think we should still make kids eat what they are given. I have never been a fussy eater but I am amazed that so many fussy eaters have never even tried the foods they say they don’t like.
My youngest sister says she doesn’t like things , so I put them into stews and ask “was that nice” when she has eaten it. She often says “Yes”, so I reply " Good I will remember that you have changed your mind about …"
She won’t drink wine, but she loved it when I make sauces with it.
Fussy eaters must get very bored if they don’t open their minds to eating new foods!
At home were never forced to eat anything .
If we didn’t eat we went hungry as no grazing was allowed .
My mum once tried to force me to eat runner beans, and said I couldn’t leave the table. I must have eventually, but I never ate those runners, and still won’t to this day!!
We were always told we had to try things at least once - if we really didn’t like them we could leave them - but there were no substitutes/alternatives offered. I can understand allergies/intolerances - but - I think parents who give in to fussy eaters are making a for for their own backs.
How odd Jan, amazing how people differ, runner beans are one of my all time favourite veg…
Many congratulations to you both - I hope you have had a lovely day.
Evenin all. Had a good walk with my wife and my ferocious beast. Then I cut the grass. Had been getting let grow until the new grass established. Then the weather got intolerably hot. So it got a bit unruly so it was a bit more of a challenge than usual. .
Many thanks ST, it has been good ![]()
Happy Anniversary Vlad. And well done to Mrs Vlad for her eternal patience.
