@Gee3 ,. That’s a strange looking washing line there Gee??
Is it yours?
Donkeyman !
Yes, it is one of the 4 antennas we have up. My wife & eldest daughter are also licenced. So it is not just me.
We are getting lots of very small Toads coming under the door, into the small room we use mostly so easy to spot them.
They just seem to sit in a corner not knowing what to do…
We put them outside again, somewhere as safe as possible as the Cats or our 1 greedy Chicken will harm them.
@DianneWoollie , Yes , they are small aren’t they Dianne ?
Could they. be hatchlings ??
I dont think your animals would harm them, as l had various
types of frogs and toads on our place and never once did our
cats or dogs try to harm them ?
Allthough they did notice them??
My cats also warned me on a couple of occasions that there
was a snake nearby ??
Once l was sitting on the sofa reading, when l noticed the two
ginger siblings had come indoors and were looking at me
very intently, then l noticed that they weren’t looking “at” me,
but behind me, on looking round carefully l found a green
“boomslang” was stretched along the sofa behind my head !!
I removed him by knocking on the sofa to cause a vibration
and he eventually went back out of the window ??
Donkeyman!
Our Ducks we had in Bexhill would eat the froglets, hated that, but really the ducks had freedom and when a couple of nasty incidences happened with two of our Pet Ducks, one we had to take to the Vets to be put too sleep , the other was our very 1st duckling born in our Shed with a Hen as the incubator.
…Foxy just suddenly appeared from nowhere and grabbed him and he was gone…
The other day we had a snake and do not know what it was. It threatened my Husband, have never known a grass snake to do that, but anyway he got a stick and put it carefully over the fence on a new plot of land we purchased recently…Just farmland and walnut trees so was a good place for it.
Our Cats go after the little lizard’s, we have lots of them running about.
Saber a couple of days ago. He is around 15 years old and Girlze who now is a much friendlier Puss is 17. She is outside the Cat Shelter today…
This is almost the last complete flower left on the Himalayan Honeysuckle, a few weeks a go the end part was pale pink, but now much brighter.
Pleased with the new Camera as well…that Danny knows his stuff, he recommended it to me for my budget range… could never have done a clear shot with Husbands old Camera…
Yours doesn’t have the white flowers at the end of the flower stalks, Dianne, like mine? It must be a different type of the same bush.
@DianneWoollie your cats look very relaxed and it’s a shame about the toads.
Here’s some late cosmos
and some late roses
lovely pics logan, thanks
Got these polyanthus delivered yesterday, it’s the only kind of plants that i buy, got 90 all together and they’ll go around the path.
I planted some Winter Pansies up @Logan today…no Photo…but this is the Nursery…love it but rather pricey…
and so many gifts as well…
early in the season…
around June…
They do have white flowers with the pink then Dianne, just like mine.
Looks a nice place Dianne.
You’ll get some good colour from those Logan…I have lots that keep producing babies…love free plants.
Bought lots of bulbs, have not decided exactly yet where to plant them.
Pansies in the Baskets looking good now.
The Nurseries seem to sell a lot of arts and crafts…animals and birds also. The have a very talkative Parrot in residence!
The plants are well cared for as well…
Fish and pond accessories
Just expensive…
Thank you Dianne and you should get a good show of spring bulbs. I bought lots of tulips and some hyacinths that go in the ground, but daffodils don’t grow very well so they go in pots.
The garden centre sounds good, there’s one at Wictbold droitwich that’s big enough to sell things like that.
