There’s deer roaming around where I live too. And foxes. Like I said to Mart…the cat has come in with one or two, but I have the little fork thing to pluck them out :beetle:

My dog had a few Ticks when we got them on the farm. He was very patient with me in getting them out.

The tomato seeds have been successful. Grown from a single Asda ‘Aromatico’ baby tomato. These are only some of them. Many others have been given away. It’s surprising how many plants can be grown from the seeds of one baby tomato.

last one is a normal fixing…was the way the farm animals got there water to drink…water is in a shallow sink of sorts inside and trickles into a gully to the outside…

Looking good Diane, i hope that you get your new roof soon.

My old man was a keen tomato grower in the UK, he built greenhouses just for that purpose. He was ropeable when he visited and found tomato plants growing out of my compost heap with no stakes, I just used to pick what I needed the rest rotted, they just grew from discarded tomatoes and the rotted ones

I’ve grown more than I need. Four of the ones shown earlier are for the poly-tunnel at the end of the garden. Some of the others will be moved on to pots around the garden.

I’ve had to give up the allotment for a while but I noticed quite a few of the growers there just put them in the ground. The tomatoes from those looked just at abundant as those in our allotment poly-tunnel. I might give that a try with one or two of the plants.

Thanks, it suits me, I don’t have loads of flowers, more of a green oasis feel I like.

The tomb is my firpit which can be cooked over and throws out tons of heat late into the night

those are hard to get photos of, not just focusing but the amount of movement as well.
Some photographers use “plamps” on the stems to stop this
