Friday the 13th, so I decided to go to the casino. A beautiful day for it. They offered a special meal today, free of charge. Seating in the large Event Room, Cobb salad, fruit plate, creamed spinach, beets, gnocchi, stuffed shells, chicken breast, marinated garlic beef tips , cheesy mashed potatoes, and two desserts. With coffee, tea, or water. Or a drink ( I passed the alcohol as I was driving home).
Also, a free gift. You never know what it will be. Here is a photo, on my setee, a black bag with handles, zipped up, weighing 14 lbs., about 3 feet long. Any guesses?? Here’s a hint: it may bring luck to some…

Lucky set of horseshoes! Here in America we often hang one over our front door- some do believe that hanging one ends up will catch the good luck, and ends down will allow the good luck to spill over your entryway.
When I first saw your post this morning @RightNow, with the help of your clue, I actually thought it could be a very big metal horseshoe that you would have to assemble yourself in some way , but wasn’t sure so I wanted to think about it more before replying, I was nearly right
Update: i had an amazing day yesterday; people were so complimentary to me at our Democratic Meet and Greet at Muddy River Brewery in the afternoon! Saw couples I knew decades ago.
Then today, without going into detail, had my feminine whims and wiles boosted. There is excitement in flirting with someone you’ve never seen before, yet laughed, engaged in fun, kidded each other like we were best friends, fist bumped, shared ex’s stories…oh my!
Then, left quickly on a high note, never to see him again!
So, @Chilliboot , those four horseshoes opened on the box need not be hung! They worked …what luck!
However I treated those horseshoes this weekend, I am not tempting fate! They can stay put and be admired. I don’t want to wear off the luck by touching them or banging them together, ya know?
When playing the game, you bang them together to shake off any dirt/grass or mud to allow them to slide more easily. You should try it, it is challenging to get “a ringer”.
