Watched Hud, Paul Newman and Patricia Neal, an oldie and dated now but passed an hour on, as they say.

We were about to watch Dallas Buyers Club. It’s not for me. The first ten minute were too sordid and seedy. It certainly seems a popular film. Not my cup of tea.

Last week I saw the Bill Murray film and Shaun the Sheep.
Gave the flix a miss this week but my friends saw Mr Turner, Selma (Martin Luther King film) and Shaun the Sheep again.

I didn’t fancy anything which might be ‘heavy’ … hence giving the second showing of Shaun the Sheep a miss

I LOVED Shaun, thought it was brilliant fun. Not really for kids at all, more for grown up kids like me!
Did you ‘get’ all the nods to various other films in the scenes? It was a bit like looking at one of those picture puzzles where you find the hidden face or whatever. They stole scenes from Silence of the Lambs, Shawshank Rebellion, Italian Job, can’t remember any more but there were others I believe.
Loved the b a a h-b a a h shop choir! And the way the sheep put people to sleep! Makes me chuckle to remember it.

In fact I might just have to go again

Was going to see Shaun again yesterday but having waited an age in Matalan for the silly girl to find my click and collect item decided to spend my time doing something more fitting … drinking wine and chatting in the PUB ! lol
