I am the other way - never feel the cold but cannot tolerate heat. I think my thermostat broke way back in my teens!

I am a Reynaud’s sufferer, so my tendency is to feel cold especially in hands and feet, but this is not helper by high dose sotalol I take in an attempt to control the intermittent AF I’ve had for many years.

So do you try and stay the same temperature through the year then?

When I started feeling extra cold, I had my thyroid checked…its worth getting that checked out as it can go a bit wonky as we get older, and it affects your metabolism.

I think I’m going to look up an outlet ,that sells clothing for freezing conditions.

I mean, look at the Eskimos, they wear animal skins…

There must be outlets for clothing like that. I’m wondering what the cost would be though.

I don’t feel the cold, I suspect it’s my layer of flubber!

But I did get a very nice little electric hand warmer for Christmas that you charge up by plugging into a USB port, that might be useful for some of you.

When I go back to sea swimming I’m planning on leaving it in my under wear so it’s nice and warm for when I get out! :joy::rofl:

Not sure I have any say in the matter - it just happens, Pixie, been that way as long as I can remember. Snow? Bring it on! Anything above 65f has me running for cover! Must be one of the few people who dread the Summer. :smiley_cat: :smiley_cat: :smiley_cat:

To be fair, Tabby, the recent two Summers have felt very hot indeed. I could barely stand the sun for longer than 10 mins at a time :astonished:

I have lived in Scotland, Lossiemouth and Aberdeen, I can never remember a summer ,where it got so hot it was unbearable.

I’m not as north as that any more…I’m down in the west coast now. I think its a combination of climate change and my sensitive skin these days :joy:

Poor Jack - what did he do to be banished?

Yes, I wondered that, too.
What’s he been up to, Pauline?
