What music do you think made it into the charts all thanks to the synthesiser.
I can remember Garry Newman with his Tubeway Army making inroads with his Cars. Simple cascading sounds from synthesisers made this a hit for Garry. This was his follow-up hit from Are Friends Electric.

I loved my trial on my first Moog, but alas she was out of my price range.

Brilliant piece of kit - I coveted a Moog, had to make do with an analogue keyboard which was just a basic oscillator whose sound could be manipulated using filters and envelope generators.
