Wendy (formerly Walter) Carlos played a big part of the development of the Moog synthesizer. Her Album Switched on Bach was released in 1968 & Bob Moog called it, The birth of a new music genre. But Bob & Wendy did collaborate to further develop the synthesizer.

OK a Hammond Organ is not exactly a Synth, but still, fab performance, fab tune.

I’m sure many electronic circuit builders would disagree d00d. Electronic organs are technically a synthetized sound and the notes are not produced by forced air passing through pitch pipes👍

For me, without a doubt, it was Kraftwerk and Amanda Lear

Does anyone remember moog music, possibly the start of music created totally on synthesisers? I recall it and also remember a family member who had a collection of vinyl records in all different colours, however, I cannot recall if both of these were at the same time, any ideas anyone?

I sure do Baz and I even booked a trial, but alas, it was far far too much to afford on my income even spread over many months :-1:

No stopping me now: Donna Summer and Vangelis

Yes, me too. I remember.

That was a shame LD, it took off as I recall. A bit hazy now about details but I did find this one by someone I am sure many will remember, Rick Wakeman. It is amazing what one person can create on one.
