Lol! I love reading these threads - more interesting than the programmes by the sound of it. Last time I saw this one it was still called ‘Emmerdale Farm’, the pub was run by Amos, there was a tall, skinny gamekeeper named Seth - I think - and it was actually about farming!
Hi
Exactly Silver.
It lost all sense of reality when Annie Sugden left.
It is the same as Coronation Street, the sort of place I could relate to as a child.
The sort of place Azure writes about when she was a child.
I can relate to all her stories, that was life.
Now it is just weird.
Alan X was the estate manager ?
Alan Turner - played, I think, by Richard Thorpe.
Did I miss the bit where Brenda returned Laurel’s purse to her, minus the card she has been using??
If you did so did I jazzi. But what on earth was last nights kidnap plot about ? How could Robert sell livs house ? How could anyone come up with that amount of cash ? Why ? Why ! Why ? It didn’t feel like emmerdale even !
Loved it then.
Have not watched it for years…which is a shame.
Got more like living in Working.
Brenda dropped the purse back into Laurel’s handbag.
Thank you missed it !
So did I! Thanks Leia.
FB is awash with protests about the house sale.
I thought Liv paid for the house! I wonder if what’s his stupid face Tate or dastardly Graham, had something to do with Aaron being kidnapped.
This business with Laurel and Bob is just plain daft.
I don’t like Brenda but it looks like she has hidden depths, a real vengeful streak!
Wouldn’t it be lovely to have one couple who actually stayed faithful, without one of them dying, in it?
I still want to know who looks after all the babies while parents are in the pub or cafe!
I agree with Tess, I too, think the Laurel & Bob affair being is both immature and stooopid.
The two idiots are on trial next week - any forecasts ?
As they are both about to do exam year in real life I guess it will mean 8 months or so in a youth offenders place so they can have time off to study.
I’m finding it cringy I’ve never really understood the attraction of Bob, he’s a nice enough person but fanciable ?
Rodney and Misty! Who writes this rubbish?
Didn’t Ross have a skin graft? If he did that part of his face would be smooth wouldn’t it?
I must say I do like Paddy and Chas at the moment.
I know but I think misty could be a good character if she wasn’t welded to Rodney. She was very good with Nicola and sensitive enough to see she and Jimmy needed space.
I too was thinking the two girls would go off to do exams, because why else do this storyline?
Also agree about Bob. Yeuk springs to mind.
Glad Rodney had his hair cut. Pony tails in old men…yeuk again.
Rather like old Rodders, but he is a bit part player now…
Thee headmistress doesn’t come over for me. Poor old Jimmy, he can’t accept advice from any quarter.
