It may not be the first time.
besoeker hang on you get fish and fries DELIVERED too?? and during covid you just stopped going in stores altogether. moving house same time sounds rough. and the mail goes THROUGH the slot in the door?? ours is just a box out by the street, lady never knocks unless something wont fit. i still go to the store myself most days never got the hang of ordering everything. leftover tuesday coffee still poking the forum
The moving bit was stressful for me - moving was going to be stress and then I had some other medical issues. And then the Covids thing just to top it off. But we got there and we have lovely neighbours. And we now have some forum members who are not enamoured with the discussions we are having. Such is lifeā¦
Weāve known you (on and off) for several years, Bes.
We donāt know this new fella very well at all, and as such some of us have our doubts based on his posts.
Weāre just keeping an eye out for a long term colleague. Thatās all. ![]()

Hi Mr GroveW. Yes, I got some sleep, had a stroll, then had another sleep. We have had lovely weather here at 22C/72F so sat in the garden with the wee dog while my wife did some gardening. My niece and husband are coming from Canada for a week or two so that should be fun. And that should the last visits for a whileā¦
Bluntness, well, it does save a bit of time ![]()
besoeker glad you got some sleep. 72 in the garden with the wee dog sounds nice. niece from canada for a week or two huh thatll be a housefull. nuked a frozen burrito still poking around wednesday afternoon
Itās not too bad with just two in Canada. When we had the lot in Georgia we had seven in total. Itās been a busy few months and we have enjoyed it. And we like burritos - my wife does those but then she is from the south. Today we had hot dogs. Tomorrow is another day and no plans - yet !
besoeker hang on SEVEN in georgia?? canada pair sounds quiet after that. and your wife makes the burritos from the south huh that beats nuking the freezer kind. hot dogs today tomorrow wide open i like that. still poking around
Yes, seven plus the wee dog ! The new one is a girlfriend/fiance. When they were here the weather was unbelievably hot (35C/95F) so we stayed in the garden much of the time - yes, we have enough garden chairs. And now the weather is cooler at 16C/61F. Our next door neighbour has popped in and he is off to walk the wee dog. My dear wife is going to give him some cake fpr hime and his mother. Good neighbours - or neighbors in your necks of the woods !
