Not a lot happening today. Pleasant weather to have a walk along the Roman Ridge and chat to a few neighbours. Then a repair on one of the kitchen cabinets. And then the meat man. We get a large delivery of different meats roughly once a month. Right to our door.
Hi, I hope you able to get direct from the producers - or at least side stepping the usual wholesalers and retailers. Weāve lamb, pork and beef farmers (and duck of course) who sell direct. Combine that with eating a bit less red meat and all is good.

Pretty similar for us but we havenāt tried the duck from our meat man although I did when we lived on the farm but that was yonks ago.

Hi Mr GroveW. Trust that you are well. Itās pleasant weather today at 20C/68F ao we strolled with the wee dog. Just as we got back home we met one of our neighbours and she and my wife chatted for quite a while. I mostly keep it short and anyway I have a bit of a problem with her strong Yorkshire accent and mine being a Scotsman. And on that note here is a wee bit of Robert Burns, a famous Scottish poet:
