Just a reminder folks that British Summer Time begins this weekend and we put our clocks forward 1 hour!
Yes, Spring forward people. One hour less in bed on Sunday morning.
I hate this messing about with the time ā¦thereās no need for it anymore
Luckily, all of our clocks are auto corrected Now that said, itās a horrid event when the hour is lost
At my age, every hour is an hour of joy
YAY : lighter nights and spring is here
Oh how yesterday, all my clocks etc change themselves.
John has 18 clocks to alter . Heās clock mad and we have them all over house.
Iām constantly reminded of time passing by. Itās a good job I love him or I might bin them all lol
We have 5 clocks that autocorrect themselves plus 7 that donāt plus 2 wristwatches that have to be changed manually.
Luck has nothing to do with it when clocks needed replacing I bought ones that correct themselves every day and of course do the back and forward thing.
Of course if I had cooker and microwave then I would have two clocks that would need changing except I wouldnāt bother.
Iāve been looking forward to this day for six months. I donāt know how to alter the clock on my little cycle computer, so Iāve been waiting for it to show the right time since the end of October.
ah!!! āclocksā i thought it said āsocksāā¦call the ambulance!!!
āDonāt forget to put your clocks forward!ā
Now this is something I could never forget to do - I start the countdown to my favourite day of the year as soon as we pass the winter solstice
We did ours on the 14th
We changed ours on the 14th also, @Bratti, and I am still sleeping in another half hour later!
I plan to put my clocks forward by several days, this year, to get me into Spring & Summer quicker.
But will it work?
If you see me sitting there, in a couple of months from nowā¦It Worked!
Yippee!
Oh, Iāll forget, I always do
Blimey Queenie, I thought I was bad enough with 11 + my car clock! 1š
I live in hope that one day someone will decide to stop all this āfall forward, spring backā nonsense.
It is well out-dated now and totally unnecessary.
