I was playing with Bubble photography last week and thought I would put a couple up here just for pretty colours.
Its just oil and water, with a light source underneath.

There’s a water theme snapshot competition!!!
Make your entries!
How unusual Pixie, great pics!
Wow, that’s incredible. I love those colors!
How do you get the different colors?
Those are so different, Pixie, very imaginative, you should put them in the competition.
Oh I’d forgotten about that, Minx! l couldn’t enter these kind though because they have been processed, so I’ll need to find a scenic one
Thank you Mags, they were fun to make!
I put a bowl of water on top of glass, and shine lights under the glass so it glows through. You can use wrapping paper or colourful fabric.
Thanks Tiff! I can’t though, because I have fiddled about with them to make them brighter and more more contrasty. For the photo comp, the pic has to be un-fiddled with! I might enter a landscape one though…I had forgotten about the competition.
I thought Bubbles had to be blown, forever.
Your bubbles are very pretty Pixie
How lovely … very easy to do but very effective.
Ink trailing in water can look particularly ethereal.
Thanks, yes I have done the ink trails too…its a lot of fun
Thank you…it can be a little bit addictive, heh!
If you like to sit and blow bubbles, Spitty…far be it for me to judge
Interesting photos .A good idea and well photographed.
Thanks, Mart… its good fun to do once in a while.
Now they are different and very good too; I’m liking those a lot.
Thanks Zaphod…I have tons of them now, all different. I might get a couple printed off and hang on the wall.
They’re certainly good enough.
A friend has her favourites blown up in size and printed on a big canvas, & it’s not horrendously expensive to do either.
I have framed up 1 drawing I copied of Chillie6’s art work, and it looks really good, I just used originary copy paper, might get some gloss paper that would really bring it alive…
