Yes, I learnt that over 30 yrs ago.

Now I’m “ fiercely “ independent, which isn’t a good thing, I know.

Solo for me most of the time - but - in BC (before covid) time I used to host a Craft Day each October. Starting at 10:00am and finishing about 6:00pm. I would provide Tea/Coffee/Biscuits and Lunch - usually home made soup and crusty bread - there were 8 of us - and it was great fun. Might just revive it this year.

That sounds fun!

Although I think I wouldn’t like it after a while. I’m good at the start, but tend to fade away after a bit. I prefer to do things on my own, really…kindof anti social I am :joy:

I prefer doing things by myself mostly but I can cope with social events

They all bring and do their own thing - so it is not an organised group thingy and - if someone wants to stop crafting they take over the coffee/tea making duties. It is all very relaxed.

I used to belong to a knitting group ,many moons ago, I loved it, not only did they help me with my knitting, we had nice chats as well.

Looking back I e always been a loner ,have always enjoyed doing my own thing .
Solitude doesn’t bother me .

I don’t want to be fiercely independent I like company.
However I don’t need to rely anyone as I am more than capable of living my life and enjoying life as a single .
I’ve joined a art group, a dog walking lunch group, singing group.

I’ve not faced a evening out at a restaurant on my lonesome I wouldn’t like it , daytime no problem . Holidays & outings with family and friends .
