Do you wish you could go back and do it all again?

No, not to change it. Just to avoid it for the next time.
Maybe I didn’t make that clear.

Largely, life has been fun. So yes, why not do it all again.

There are things I would do differently, things I would avoid & things like losing my father aged 8, that I just cannot change.

Do it all again? Not really. But I would like to go back and correct a few bad decisions I’ve made over the years.

Sorry but I just burst out laughing and nearly choked on my Weetbix, I thought you were going to leap into the Lumberjack Song. You know “with my best girl by my side” etc. Sorry, it just hit me like that and I know you are a musician. I do apologise.

I would like to ask Billy Connolly this very same question. At one time in his earlier career Billy would do small audience ocassions less nor more than a studio size who could ask any question they wanted of him and he had no preparation but he batted all the answers back with aplomb!

considering he was brought up in the cheap end of town lost his mother at a young age she simple upped and left - was sexually abused by his father and emotionally abused by his aunts and bullied at school - I wonder what he would go back and change! you could argue quite honestly that all of that madeth the man he is today - of course I am sure he would like to change his currrent medical conditions?

It sounds like he really had it tough Gumbud, but I think we can all find some unsavoury items from our past. I know I can…
