Yes, I wish I could go back to my new member status on the forum and just took time, sat back and watch people for a bit before jUmPiNG head first into threads and making a right royal fool of myself

I’ve made lots of poor choices, but strongly suspect if I went back I would end up doing it just the same, making the same mistakes because the poor decisions I made, (and still make) are the result of me being me.

I joined OFF before you and I do not think you made yourself look foolish. We are all different, thank goodness, and variety is what keeps a half decent forum alive and interesting. It would be thoroughly boring if all of the membership toed the line and expressed similar views. It’s the variety of the membership that keeps me looking in and exchanging views & ideas :+1:

Do it ALL again ? I don’t think so. For sure, I’ve my share of gaffes - don’t don’t we all ! But on the plus side I have lovely children, grand children, and my precious wife!

One thing I wish I could go back for is to not have wasted my time on fake “friends”

I would also say I would be stricter with my son but seeing he has ADhD I suppose that wouldn’t have made any difference. I did something right he has a good and caring heart just a brain that’s wired different.

One thing for sure, I would do it all again with the same man. I’ve been blessed.

When I think about it I realise I’ve been lucky in life to have what I have and to have been born in a fairly civilised country.

I’m.happy enough with my lot

I never look back as l can’t do anything about it.
I have loved my life and l feel lucky to have had the life l’ve had. Ups, downs, worries, good times, bad times 
 just all good experience really that has made me appreciate my life.
So no, l don’t want to go back, l would just prefer to be
immortal!

Why? If you went back and changed it, you’d make it a ‘perfect’ life.
Life isn’t perfect and we need to make mistakes to appreciate the good parts of it.

No, l don’t strive for ‘perfection’ as that’s not real life

I agree with this, too.
We need the bad times to appreciate the good.

We learn valuable lessons from our mistakes, so we learn from bad as well as good.
We need both to become wiser.
