John do you have any problems with ya rootings??
Behave yourself Gummy!
I’m trying to have an intelligent conversation here with our Rehab about his experiment
Well sir, you are going to have to ask the good lady wife about that!!
I would advise that you don’t cover it in honey, it’s a very slow grower…
And it attracts flies…
Mmm, you’ve just given me an idea…
I have?
Mmm. But I’m not saying what it is.
You are a bloody tease LD stop being coy
Rude boys you lot - you’ve got one track minds!
I don’t know if I dare tell you about keeping me Nematodes in the fridge.
Well if it keeps them fresh Mups…
I thought nematodes lived in bras??
I thought it was Wigan? A small religious sect that worship the Great Pumpkin? .I might be wrong though…
I can see I’m wasting me breath trying to educate you lot.
Now you will always wonder how I rejuvenated my nematodes, made them spring into life again, and used them to enhance my life!
Here you go
Left Fresh Hormone rooting powder
Centre Honey Rooting method
Right old Hormone Rooting powder
The Honey Rooting method seems to be working now.
Hmm, the honey one has certainly caught up with the one on the right hand side, but looks like the new powdeer has done the best job of all, doesn’t it.
I guess you took all the cuttings at the same time Rehab, but were they all off the same plant or different mother plants?
Yes, all cuttings taken on the same day from the same plant Mups
I am going to leave them another week or two, then remove them from the pots and take a look at the roots.
I think I will stick with the fresh rooting powder…and give the honey a miss in future.
Ah well, it was still an interesting experiment. We don’t know what will happen unless we try, do we.
That’s right Mups, it will be interesting to see what the root development is like in two weeks time
