I have a Worcester accent but my dad was brought up in and lived at Worcester but my mom was a Brummie and moved to Worcester after the second world war.
33 years ago I moved to Redditch and when I speak to my brothers who still live in Worcester I can hear a Hereford accent. But not posh.
fancy LD
I wonder what that sounds likeâŠ
Does anyone like listening to their own voice? I mean, in a recording or video? I donâtâŠI think I sound awful

Likewise. But my dear wife has a lovely accent. Gone with the WindâŠ
Oooh that reminds me of the Wurzels! Lovely accent, very friendly!

Fancy!!!

At one stage when I became enthusiastic with a part time role as a cabaret singer without first seeking my employerâs essential permission, I was offered the choice of stop or be sacked. It took several months for my other employment to reach my main employerâs notice, but reach it did and the singing had to stop.
Thatâs so sad LD
Makes no sense why you couldnât do both!

I have a Canadian accent âeh
