If you had been watching GB News tonight you would have seen the letter of apology from the BBC that clearly stated that a high ranking official from Coutts had provided the BBC with Farageās personal details. The BBC admitted that it was checked with Coutts before posting, and Coutts said it was correct.
Coutts have scored an own goal never heard of Ratners ?
Elitist banks serve the elite and the elite donāt want to know how their banks really feel about them .
Or risk being cancelled for their views
Someone in that bank has released these details .and one thing people expect from their bank is discretion .
Had to go public? Cared about others? I truly disagree. His Brexit caused de-banking for tens of thousands and did he give a hoot? Nope. Its all about publicity and not about anyone else.
Most people done the same? Err, no. Given that Coutts makes their eligibility clear everyone else would have simply taken the offered NatWest account or gone back to their other accounts. For example, I had an HSBC Premier account up until a few years ago. They have a similar (but much much lower) threshold of earnings or savings. Me retiring changed my eligibility. So I closed the account before they told me to. Very, very simple. I didnāt even tell anyone. None of their business. Like the way normal people behave.
And doesnāt the slimeball just love it? Smirking all over his face and doubtless pondering how he can trouser some cash he hasnāt earned out of this, as per his MEP salary and pension
Definitely an own goal but I expect theyāll survive and it must have been so satisfying to write exactly what they thought of him, and to issue it out to him when he demanded it
It could not have been easier for me when I moved from my Barclays P account to my new bankers as my new bankers did everything with just a signature from me and also from my wife. It really was that simpleš
