Disproved: The truth about SECRET Coutts memo

Farage was denied an account from any other bank Lincs.

They were quite happy with Pinochet,I donā€™t think Nigelā€™s that bad.

Where had it been confirmed by the BBC that their source was Coutts?

Iā€™ve been all through the reports I can find and I canā€™t find them saying that anywhere?

They said the information they published had been based on a ā€œtrusted and senior sourceā€ but that it was ā€œincomplete and inaccurateā€.

But nowhere can I find anyone saying that trusted and senior source was from Coutts?

It may well have been, but I canā€™t find anyone confirming?

If you had been watching GB News tonight you would have seen the letter of apology from the BBC that clearly stated that a high ranking official from Coutts had provided the BBC with Farageā€™s personal details. The BBC admitted that it was checked with Coutts before posting, and Coutts said it was correct.

Quote: ( Whether the two discussed Mr Farage, neither is prepared to say). Unquote.

Thank you

Obviously I wouldnā€™t dream of ever watching GBNews or believe anything they publish by Iā€™ll try to see it from another source :+1:

Whoever the senior person is, it was very very wrong of them to pass on personal information, let alone tell lies!!

So your opinion is completely biased then! Sounds like you would make an ideal Coutts employee!:rofl::rofl:

Maybe, but Farage canā€™t sue Coutts for revealing his information unless he can prove the source was Coutts?

OK, hereā€™s the letter that starred on GBNews and while it mentions a senior source, nowhere does it say that senior source was from Coutts

They probably were but no one has confirmed it?

Where did you see the BBC saying theyā€™d confirmed with Coutts?

The merger of the Westminster Bank and the National Provincial in 1969 saw Coutts form part of the larger NatWest Group

Will not be long before the identification of the ā€˜sourceā€™ is known to the public.

I donā€™t think the BBC have revealed it yet though?

I think itā€™s one of the questions Farage is asking and until itā€™s confirmed the source was from Coutts he canā€™t really sue them over it?

The worse thing about this is that Nigel Farage is back in the headlines.

Coutts have scored an own goal never heard of Ratners ?
Elitist banks serve the elite and the elite donā€™t want to know how their banks really feel about them .
Or risk being cancelled for their views
Someone in that bank has released these details .and one thing people expect from their bank is discretion .

Had to go public? Cared about others? I truly disagree. His Brexit caused de-banking for tens of thousands and did he give a hoot? Nope. Its all about publicity and not about anyone else.
Most people done the same? Err, no. Given that Coutts makes their eligibility clear everyone else would have simply taken the offered NatWest account or gone back to their other accounts. For example, I had an HSBC Premier account up until a few years ago. They have a similar (but much much lower) threshold of earnings or savings. Me retiring changed my eligibility. So I closed the account before they told me to. Very, very simple. I didnā€™t even tell anyone. None of their business. Like the way normal people behave.

And doesnā€™t the slimeball just love it? Smirking all over his face and doubtless pondering how he can trouser some cash he hasnā€™t earned out of this, as per his MEP salary and pension :face_vomiting::face_vomiting:

Definitely an own goal but I expect theyā€™ll survive and it must have been so satisfying to write exactly what they thought of him, and to issue it out to him when he demanded it :+1:

BBC and Banks do tend to bury their heads in the sand before facing unpleasant facts. They were wrong.

This saga will continue, will put money on it, until they come clean.

It could not have been easier for me when I moved from my Barclays P account to my new bankers as my new bankers did everything with just a signature from me and also from my wife. It really was that simplešŸ‘
