Your are possibly a little behind the times, John Prescott had that nickname but this is old news.
He now has three Jags Jags, plus a Rover 75 according to the undated article on the link below, how the poor live!
I already did the Jag joke. So, can we can get back to the topic referred to the supervisor?
Just had my second vaccine. Very quick, in and out in less than 5 minutes.
Perfect Scott, glad you didnāt have to hang around.
We also had our second Pfizer jab this afternoon.
Went in 15 minutes before our allotted time, no queue, answered a few more routine questions, received the jab which was painless. Given the timer again to wait through 15 minutes, checked we were ok then allowed to go home.
Now nearly 4 hours later we are still both free of any discomfort, aches or pains, dizziness etc. So far, I would even venture to say it was better than the lfirst jab.
Tomorrow will tell though
Good that everything went well for you Mags. There was no waiting for 15 minutes after the vaccine for me. Pfizer seems to be given more in England than up here in Scotland. Everybody I know has had the Astra Zeneca.
Thanks Scott.
Yes it appears to be the Astra Zeneca offered to all the 1st timers here as well. It could be that they ordered much more Astra Zeneca and they may be using the Pfizer to complete the second doses.
Now they are talking about tweaking the vaccine to cover the variants, followed by a another booster to the newer one in September!
As Iāve said before, I will not be having 3 vaccines in 7 months for anybody!
At least there will be lots and lots of trained vaccinators available.
And there will probably be another one when the figures start going up again in the winter Mupsā¦
Good Jab, Bad Jab, is this like Good Cop, Bad Cop?
Folks have been having Jabs for this and that for years, on one ever rated them before.
This premise is so annoying.
What? Theyāre doing mix and match for vaccines?
They donāt do this with the flu vaccine, do they Foxy.
It changes most years I know, but we still only have the one jab per year.
It makes me feel very uneasy for some reason.
I think Scott meant that the supply of Pfizer is being saved for second doses of the people who had Pfizer, e.g. Mags.
I thought they were discussing that for over 70s and at risk groups only.
Are they, Annie?
I didnāt hear that part, but you may be right.
Ah! Aha! I wondered about the efficacy of mixing them.
They might not get on with each other.
thereās a thread about it on the health forum.
