Nor me.
Such good news about vaccine efficency :-).
If I lived in some of the EU countries where spite and pettiness against the UK and Oxford Astra Zeneca were resulting in the vaccine not being taken up and lives lost I would not be pleasedâŠ
Their loss and I guess the poor take up in Europe means no shortage of AZ vaccine for use here
Maybe, l didnât sign something? Honestly, l cant really remember? I know I had to fill in some forms before having the injection.
I definitely did not receive any leaflets afterwards, just a card to state which vaccine l had.
For most of my time in there wearing a mask, my reading glasses were steamed up and l couldnât see a thing.
Art, donât tell me that you had a handsome young doctor giving your jab.:surprised: That would make anybodyâs glasses steam up!
No, it was a lovely nurse who didnât hurt me one bit.
Yes, I read that in the Express.
From what I could understand, they have no substantial evidence to support their claims that the AZ vaccine is ineffective. I hope so, anyway, as thatâs the one I had!
No, I think itâs just a case of childish spite or perhaps some sort of attempted excuse for their lack of progress in vaccinations compared to ours.
As far as Iâm concerned, once all of our people have been vaccinated, Iâd be happy for us to supply any excess vaccines to third world countries who, Iâm sure, would be very grateful for them.
I donât remember us having to sign anything when we went for our vaccinations.
I wonder, now it has been shown that the OxAZ vaccine is perfectly safe for all age groups and the French and German governments have appologised, if there is any possibility for AZ to sue them for libel, slander or defamation of character (in the UK High Court and not the ECJ of course).
Can l just say⊠l am fretting here that you all might think l donât tell the truth.
I honestly swear, l canât remember if l did or didnât sign the form l filled in.
I would hate to think anyone would think l would tell lies as l am so honest and would never not tell the truth.
I believe you Angel.
So they should.
Stop worrying, Angel. No-one here would think anything like that of you. Youâre a nice person.
Thank You, Percy.
JBR, Thank You. My credibility is so important to me that l had to say something.
I booked mine over the internet so couldnât have signed anything, but I did have to answer a few questions and I have no idea whether I agreed to accept responsibility if there were any problems.
The only thing I am sure about is that I am booked to go to the same place on 27th April to get my second jab.
This was new to all of us so I am sure that a lot of us donât remember everything Art!
Was it this Art ? https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/954440/PHE_Covid-19_consent_form_adults_able_to_consent_v2.pdf
I believe you !
I have never received one of those.
Zuleika, Honestly, I donât remember. I know l started to fill a form in and my glasses steamed up.
The nurse was waiting for me and l finished filling it in after my injection.
Even if you tortured me, l wouldnât be able to tell you, specifically what the form was like!
I could tell you, it was snowing on the day and the woman sitting opposite me was born in the same year as me and looked about 100.
The nurse had short hair and glasses and a tattoo on her arm. The seat l sat in was red! All true!
I booked the appointment via a text message from my doctorâs surgery. I just chose a time on the day they offered me at a local hospital. No other details were asked for.
Perhaps the form was because you said you suffered allergies ? Did they ask you that question?
I donât think so because the other woman filled one in too.
So didnât others on this thread have to fill a form in before their vaccination?
l said l was concerned by the fact l suffered allergies but as l mentioned earlier, it didnât seem to be a big deal unless youâd ever suffered anaphylactic shock and had one of those pens.
I never had to fill in any forms. One or two questions were asked about allergies etc. I got my vaccine in my local GP surgery by one of the doctors so my medical history would have been available.
