LD, it’s a shame Mrs LD has to travel so far to have her vaccination but at least she now has a definite appointment.
I hope all goes well for her.
Yes, I agree thanks Mags. Fifteen miles is not really that far, I would travel 1,000 miles to make she is ok. It’s just odd that there is a vac centre about 5 miles away but I suppose they have a lot to get through.
I suppose whichever centre has the earliest vaccination slots available sends out their invites.
I do think the way the NHS is handling this vaccination is exemplary. It makes me proud to be British.
I agree JBR. Especially when our European friends are squabbling as usual.
Oh… I agree with you wholeheartedly JBR, we couldn’t wish for better, they are our heroes.
There was a doctor on the telly today, answering questions from the public.
One lady asked the same question I put on here a few days ago, about mixing vaccines if they can’t get hold of the same vaccine for our second jab.
The doc replied that they are experimenting with that, and beginning to come round to the idea it will work, and may even give better immunity!
Personally, I think i would feel a bit anxious if they wanted to mix mine.
I have just been Pfizered …
My second is due on April 24th …
Good to hear Omah
Mine’s next Tuesday.
Good news PB, hope it goes well for you…
Got mine on Monday, a minutes walk away at our little community centre…
Well done Cranberry, I hope it all goes smoothly for you.
i got Pfizered this morning, about a ten min drive from me. All very efficient and well organized in a large surgery
Pleased it went well for you Macy…
Thank you, I do, too, Mags
I seem to be the only one travelling out of the area. It’s not a problem but I would have thought keeping people local would make sense considering.
I had mine this morning - it was like a military operation at our surgery, so well run.
Well done Margaret
Our NHS are pulling out all the stops and everything is running smoothly - it makes such a difference, full marks to them!
