Thanks for the information and your efforts in providing the figures every day @Bruce,
very interesting to read how it’s all done.
Scotty has just reduced the time between second dose and booster to 5 months so now I am over due for my booster shot. Will see if I can book before Christmas.

Queensland’s border has opened today, 50000 cars are expected to cross the border in the first day. Fully vaccinated people can now enter without quarantining after a pcr test and one 6 days later.
Spare a thought for people living on the border, there are people who’s house is in NSW but their driveway enters a road in Queensland. They have lived in fear of fines for nearly two years.
@Muddy might be interested.
The Queensland Premier has promised the border will not close again.

Got a question, think its been asked before, given that the UK are the leaders in vaccination roll outs etc, how come we have the highest rates (on population size)?
Too many comings and goings Spitty, and vaccines were never intended to halt the spread of the virus, just take pressure off the NHS.

Surely the answer to that is that any measures taken by the UK Government were too little, too late (and, it should be added, extremely confused). It is especially reprehensible since they could see what happened in other countries before the situation got too bad in their own country.
Of course i am only going on what was reported here.
looks like all the Europeans are stepping up now.

And of course the UK don’t count the deaths after 28 days !!!
UK = 78k, when are folks going to start masking up and standing off?
Sometime never perhaps? From what I see at the shops too people don’t voluntarily observe the two-metre social distancing, it may no longer be a regulation but common sense says it’s probably a good idea, but then, common sense seems to have ‘gone out of the window’ with some!
I agree…those distance stickers & arrows that were on the floor are all worn away, and the walking in one entrance and coming out of another…nope, not happening. And most sanitising stations are empty now.
We are seeing the results of months of freedom not just the present. The effects of a Virus have a delayed action, but it was always going to happen when the winter came. I’m just surprised that everyone didn’t expect this…
I did.
So did I Spitty, despite the vaccines.
