Its a bit like smoking, folks used to use the death argument to stop people doing it. My mother had breathing problems, and for her everyday was a living hell. People need to stop treating dying as the worst case scenario, and, think about living in a persistent hell. It can’t be much fun, hooked up in ICU, regardless of the stats.

This was always going to be the ultimate test of the vaccines. How well they would perform once winter was on us, and the lockdowns were lifted. You have got to ask yourself though…‘Can we keep doing this every year from now on’ or accept there will be casualties?

Which translates to: “There will be more restrictions” Why can’t they just do what they need to do, instead of hinting and faffing around. I read that they are monitoring the situation on an hourly basis - what for? Its not going to go away by 5:48pm on Wednesday night is it?

If more stringent restrictions are imposed, how could any be enforced without the will of the people? The average ‘person’ has endured enough to toe the line should more restrictions be announced. Yes, some venues, eateries and pubs etc could be forced to close, but the rest of the population will just say ‘to hell’ with anything else and then go ahead with their family holiday arrangements, mixing mingling and thoroughly enjoying the company so many had banked on for so long. The rot started from the top down and now it’s reached the bottom, the top doesn’t like it and the best thing IMO about that is they can do sod all about it.

How could any be enforced when all around Downing St last year rules were being broken wholesale? Parties last year were known by a few and kept quiet, only hanging onto the info just in case a get out of jail card was needed. It wasn’t me that blew the whistle, but I could have done if I needed to.
During my days serving the crown, I soon learned to observe, note, but then keep ultra quiet unless speaking up was expedient to do so. It was the same for Mrs LD as she moved around serving the crown.

Ah, it was only disclosed to the public at that time; others knew all about it and more to the point, who was there. That’s the whip hand, knowing who attends such venues and keeping hold of the proof if needed.

There are massive protests going on all around the world, not seen on the BBC, it’s getting serious and some are turning nasty. When the people have had enough the authorities will be powerless to stop them or have to resort to a serious response. We are not talking just a few ant-vaxxers (the media will give you the impression that it’s just a few) but vaxed and unvaxed alike and they are standing together to end this stupidity.
