TBH the missus has worked for several Asian Doctors and that ladies portrayal was very reminiscent of some of their wives.
It will soon need to be renamed, Currynation Street.
But I still won’t tolerate bad acting on a programme I watch all the time, whoever or whatever she is. I’ll say again, she contributes nothing to the show.

He looks very different, I thought. Older, definitely, and more frail. I didn’t think much of his acting either.
I don’t believe he can act - when did you ever see him in anything else? 
His son, Linus, has appeared in more things.:-D:-D:-D

I thought Ken looked just the same. His acting during the ‘showdown’ with Deirdre was certainly better than hers!
I agree with that eccles, he seems to have noticeably aged now. Mind you, I expect we have too.
