Corrie

I’m in a bay of 4 beds and only Hannah next to me didn’t watch Corrie. She wants to catch up at home. She said she sat there giggling at the 3 of us glued to our tvs at 7.30, and it being so quiet!!

I too didn’t cry as I thought but found it very moving and yes, tastefully done. Oh Carla, wasn’t she a pain, putting Anna through that?

What I lived about Hayley and how the writers created her, was her good manners, her thoughtfulness, the ability to listen and to give out good advice. Look what she did with Chesney. She always, without fail, would say thank you, even if Roy handed her a glass of water. A trait I love in people.

By heck she was a one off and will be so missed.

Roy actually said it was their favourite Vaughn Williams music !

Could have been, only caught a snippet, same stable.

I’m almost sure it was The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams

Well its one way of getting rid of an actress, lots of discussions on Radio 5 today as too the value of the subject as portrayed on a soap.

That’s the one - beautiful !

Just had an email photo from my Grand daughter in Barcelona( she is there till Easter with her Drama course) of her and three friends and standing in the middle of them was…Roy Cropper. He was walking up the street and they were walking down, they chatted and had the photo taken.

Must have been when he went missing from Corrie for 2 weeks! I wondered what he did during his well deserved absence.

Trouble is brewing, it would seem Peter has got Two Birds up the duff.

Hello SF - I knew Carla was, but didn’t know anything about Tina as well? You sure?

I stopped watching after Hayley died, just realised I don’t miss it. Sad really it was my favourite for many years.

It must be the lure of those knock-off nylons he sells out of his cardboard suitcase in the alley. I can’t think of any other reason why any sane and attractive female would want to go near him. Or maybe it’s the stench of his nicotine breath?

I have it on good authority (the wife), apparently when he finds out, he hits the bottle again.

Can’t really blame him, can you?

Pity he didn’t hit the bottle sooner, he might have fallen asleep instead of having his evil way.

I and the OH are going off Corrie very quickly now , boring story lines stretched out for months ,can you stretch an elastic band as long as a Corrie story line…lol

Me too. Storylines not only boring, but less believable. It’s all getting a bit ludicrous now.

LOL ! I agree totally … but still keep watching, ‘Just in case’

apparently Kevin is back this week. I have it on good authority (my Daughter) that he’s off again to go to rehab…

Indeed!!

I don’t quite know how he manages it though… I smoke and drink, but young women don’t throw themselves upon me!! Hmm…
