Coronavirus

I saw some big football match on the news, where the two teams were not allowed to shake hands even, and yet the Crufts judges and commentators were shaking hands, hugging contestants and even kissing the winners.

I am waiting for a huge increase in the virus next week. :frowning:

I’ve been counting my money so I scrubbed my hands!

I’ve got Ā£20 in 20p’s in my china pig!

A man in his 60s has become the third person in the UK to die after testing positive for coronavirus.:frowning:

Yes ,recently returned from Italy. He did have underlying medical conditions.
The rise in cases over the past 36 hrs in Italy is frightening .

Oh dear! Not a million miles from us!

Crufts hasn’t been a problem since I stopped entering my wife.

Interesting point though, The Royal Easter Show starts soon in Sydney, I think about a million people attend that. Hard to imagine it being cancelled but it is possible. It’s the biggest agricultural show in the country.

What breed is she?

Tasmanian Devil presumeably.

Same here .:frowning:

Every case in the UK is not a million miles from you.

Could you put the figures for N Korea in your post tommorrow
Brucy, it seems to be completely free of the virus so far allthough
it is between two high incidence countries??
Donkeyman!

North Korea has none according to the list of cases, Russia only have a handful. . It seems strange n Korea have none but perhaps they are keeping it quiet

It is probably because the movement of the population is restricted.

Parents panic buying toilet rolls.

Children:

My Son, who is on holiday this week, earlier had a phone call from his Boss saying would he like to join a clean up team to clean places that needed deep cleaning due to the Coronavirus. It would mean very good money.
Son said yes, then he told his Boss, but you do know I am diabetic. Boss said, sorry, I didn’t know that, then said, no you can’t do it.:frowning:
Son couldn’t believe his Boss didn’t know, as it was on his application from when he joined the team.
So no extra money for Son.:frowning:

Bet kids don’t wash their hands properly either.

Not a bit strange. North Korea is a communist dictatorship which keeps it’s citizens imprisoned within it’s own borders.

What does that mean? Do North Koreans never leave their own country? Sorry for my ignorance

Not only do they not leave the country without very tight controls, but they cannot move freely within their own country.
It’s also not likely anyone can easily enter or travel around.
