Lion Queen, because you work with lots of people you may have built up a stronger immune system than lots of us on here.
The government are saying if you have to self isolate you will get statutory sick pay, so if you can’t go you won’t lose out finacially. I’m not sure if that covers most wages though.

I’m probably overly worrying but that’s me, a born worrier, I think because i have COPD and a heart condition it’s making me think too deeply about it. I think more people are now becoming concerned because of the huge jump in cases in one day. I wish it would feck orf.

Ordinary Common Flu kills far more here in the UK every year.
We do not worry about that.
I am out Saturday Night, loads of people, late night opening at Shrewsbury Market, loads of Food Stalls.
We are an awful long way from a serious problem here in the UK.
As I have posted many times, I was a Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Warfare Officer for many years.
I know my stuff.
I know the worst case scenario, we are a way from that.

Some excellent news. Just saw a report on the news which stated the covid-19 virus is apparently not affecting children. Doctors are stumped as to why.

I cauight the tail end of a news bulletin today, and I think it said 4 of the latest cases were more b***dy illegal immigrants picked up in a small boat in the Channel!
So the other 81 are here legally?

Just saying what they said on the news today, that they picked up more people trying to get over here on a dinghy or boat or some sort, and then found 4 of them tested positive.

Many more older people have died because of existing conditions.

It is the way things work.
There are simple , basic things you can do to protect yourself.

I have a damaged heart and damaged lungs and skull.
I have been shot, stabbed and blown up.
I lead a full life, just take simple basic precautions and absolutely not fussed by Coronavirus.
Chill out, wash your hands and your chances of being infected are a small fraction of dying from Flu.

I think the logical explanation is if there are lots of people off work ,deliveries won’t get into supermarkets and shops .

So 80 odd people out of a population of 65 million have contracted a flu like disease, excuse me but I’ll panic later.
Maybe they appeared unwell, so were tested, I don’t know.
I believe it said they were picked up last Thursday.
Oops, my apologies, it wasn’t a boat, they were smuggled in in a lorry. It seems they felt unwell.
