I just heard that on the late news Mags.
Apparently he was in a meeting for half an hour with someone who has tested postiive.
I’m sure he could well do without a second dose of it.

He has so many things to worry about lately and now this.
Still he will battle on … he has had such a worrying time since he became PM, he must be quite exhausted with it all.
No doubt someone will have a laugh at his expense

A new strain in Oz?
SA has gone into total lockdown after 17 cases.
From midnight tonight, for the next six days, all schools, pubs, cafes, takeaway food outlets and the construction industry will close. Exercise will be banned outside the house.
People will be restricted from going outside their homes. Only one person per household will be able to leave the home each day, but only for specific purposes.
People are being encouraged to wear masks whenever they are outside their homes.
The SA State Government has labelled the lockdown a “circuit breaker”, as authorities scramble to contain a coronavirus outbreak. The virulent strain of Covid originated from someone in hotel quarantine returning from the UK – it becomes infectious with in 24 hours of infection
We might be winning the occasional battle, but Covid seems to be slowly winning the war, and will continue on its rampage until just about everybody has been infected. All that lockdowns do is to slow down its progress for a while.
The figures for yesterday only seem to suggest that there were only 13 new cases overnight in Australia?
And the DM reckon that there were 22 new cases…
Now Dido Harding has received an alert to self isolate from the Covid-19 app.
That’s hardly surprising - a week ago her husband, Conservative MP John Penrose, was told to isolate by the app, and days after Boris Johnson, her boss, began self-isolating.
However, IMO, she’s just using it as an excuse to further avoid public scrutiny …
.
That’s a total of 17 cases in SA not 17 cases in one day. SA had no community cases at all for weeks/months, this cluster came from hotel quarantine workers.
Speaking generally all cases reported in Australia are among returning residents in hotel quarantine. For example NSW, NT, WA, QLD and Victoria have had no community transmission for weeks

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says special, more relaxed, health orders will be introduced in her state to allow for Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Ms Berejiklian said up to 3,000 people will be able to attend outdoor events from November 23, as long as they met specific COVID guidelines.
There were no locally acquired coronavirus cases in NSW in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday. (5 cases in hotel quarantine)
It means there has not been a locally acquired case found in the state for 12 days.
Anyone attending a function in the Sydney CBD will need to apply for a permit
Choirs of up to 30 people will be allowed to perform at carols by candlelight events
Thanks for your updates Bruce, it sounds like Australia is beginning to see the light.
I hope you are able to go on your holiday soon.
Maybe Monday!
Certainly Australia has been lucky but the secret seems to be go early go hard. SA Had no new cases today but they are still concerned about a Pizza place where a hotel security guard worked for up to 10 days. Apparently they have contacted 4000 people and told them to self isolate for 14 days. The contacts were made using credit card slips, phone numbers and delivery records.

South Australia will come out of hard lockdown on Saturday night — three days early — and outdoor exercise with family or housemates will be allowed “effective immediately”, authorities have announced.
It comes as the state records three new coronavirus cases, all of which were already in quarantine and were close contacts of staff at a medi-hotel and the Brompton aged care home.
Quite an interesting story about how a lie from a worker at a pizza parlour shut down a whole state. The lie resulted in a gap in the contact tracing which authorities thought meant that the virus must be widespread in the community. SA was shut down completely for six days as a “circuit breaker”.
After the lie was discovered it revealed the contact was direct to a known source and the lockdown was able to be withdrawn today.
Initially the SA police said he faced no penalties but now they are combing through legislation to throw the book at him!
