Ah, yes. That would explain it. For swimming that distance he should be in the Olympic swimming team.
Perhaps that’s what Coronation Street is building up to.

In order to achieve that, the Weatherfield police would have to have a certain degree of competence.
Enough said.
In my opinion the Phelan story is overkill. I have taken to taping the shows and fast forwarding through half of it. What a shame. Coronation Street was my favorite show but that is disappearing quickly.
To me, the Phelan stories are the best parts of it.
I’m also pleased that a couple of ‘fun’ storylines are beginning to reappear again.
Haven’t watched Corrie for around five years, got bored with it…
I have enjoyed the Phelan saga if I’m honest, I think he is a superb actor and very convincing as a nasty piece of work but I have been thinking for a while that it needs to end now as people are becoming bored with it. I don’t enjoy a lot of the dark storylines that they seem to be airing all the time these days, as I said earlier in a post, bring back the humour.
Becoming bored with it?
He’s been thought killed by Eileen but has escaped death. Now he’s coming back to kill her, or so we think.
How can that be boring?
I’m myself am not bored with it but I see many people commenting that they are bored.
I doubt he will kill Eileen, I haven’t heard she’s going out of Corrie anyway.
Please Phelan put us out of our misery, jump off the Dover cliffs with Eileen in a close embrace.
I have visions of Phelan suddenly appearing at the foot of Eileen’s bed in the dead of night, because of course she won’t change the locks, or bolt the doors, will she? Wonder if she will take over his business in the meantime?
I know who he is going to try and kill next, don’t know if he will succeed or not though.
I don’t, but apart from Eileen I’m sure there are a few more on his list.
David releases his pent-up fury in the boxing ring, TV guide says and attacks Gary? Suppose that has something to do with his serious sexual assault.
That was last night Cinderella
No way should that have been on at that time of day, I turned off and didn’t go back for the second half
And i’m not allowed to say either JBR.
Perfectly believable, eh? An ex-squaddie being beaten by a hairdresser!
Quite.
OK, I’ve had enough now of David’s behaviour, it’s pathetic, and the story is going on far too long.
Also getting a bit fed up with the Eva/Toya baby saga too, and as for Simon, Peter’s son, I can’t get on with that lad at all.
There, that’s got that off me chest.
Me too…
